Alfouz Guest House

I booked a Delux Room for just one day stay alone. A Worst experience. No Value for money, as the Charge is high for the facilities provided. Over the call the Owner told a price and on the day of booking, he raised the Charge. Rooms are not so good as expected, not maintained well. Can see small insects, damaged furniture and TV not working. For a family, only one towel provided. Please don't book, as there would be more good hotels to stay near by.

Overall a good experience. Friendly staff. Did not experience power outages. AC was working as expected as we were staying during summer, so it's a must in Chennai. Good for families visiting or attending patients in Nearby hospitals MMM and Frontline, Also have restaurants and bus stands are available nearby. Just one lane behind the main road , where we had to visit frontline hospital

Pros:- Clean Rooms with good room service and reasonable rates. The Standard Family room is a good package for groups for affordable stay in the city. Guests also get access to free Wifi in hotel. The room also had access to a pantry kitchen with most utensils and a refrigerator. The location of the hotel is also very convenient with public transportation such as buses and metros very close by. Cons:- Its too hot to sit in the rooms sometimes without AC and the AC in our room was not working. There is slight odour sewage too sometimes at night.

There rooms were like houses in apartment like you have a hall, bedroom, kitchen, restroom, fridge, dinning table, TV...... Its not so sophisticated but..... Its near MMM hospital so you can stay there if some of your relation in the hospital near by.

Best part is 24hr check-in

We have recently stayed in this place for our father treatment. Its really a good place with attached kitchen cabinet.price is okay. They will clean the rooms everyday morning overall service is good.It is especially useful for the people who came for treatment in the mogappair area..

Hotel is very bad.. They don't provide water in hotel. This is disgusting. Nobody should stay there. People there have no humanity and very cruel.

I n my wife stayed at Al-fouz guest house,its the worst place ever I make a very bad experience.despite the 2 manager was on holiday .a supervisor was in charge .His name is Osman and he does not speak english n we get problem with communication. He is so rude ,stupide,ill mannered n liar. He cut the internet as he has not paid for the bill n we were working from home due to confinement. He knock the door wherever I am out .he talk loudly on his phone at night as it ecord the room. I have to call the owner to intervene. But no action has been take .whenever you go out he ask you question where you are going,as if I have to take permission with him .as its non of his business where I am going .he has a vicious look towards the ladies.even he was shouting with a pregnant lady he is such an bad guys .he give half kg of chicken to share with 7 room boy staf n he told them to take one piece of chicken each n to add lots of water to make it watery gravy .karma will hit him in future .i dnt recommend any Mauritian people to stay at this guest house .service terrible. He does not know how to deal with complaints. English is 0 for him .In a gust house you get international customer so English is the international language. ||Worst place for me n very bad experience. I am putting the picture so you can recognise him .He always give hard time for the boy working there. I have notice he make his own specil food in a vacant room n he told the staff to eat vegetables only .
