Olive Inn ECR

There are lot of things you need to know before you book the place. They have way too many restrictions that's not been listed in the website or told to while booking. 1) You cannot use the swimming pool after 10PM. It doesn't make sense to us to not use the indoor swimming pool after 10 and also you will have to remain calm and quiet while using the pool. We actually had booked this place just because it has the pool. My friends and I had to argue to actually get the pool access and stayed quiet without having to talk to each other the entire time which made us feel like we are some bunch of school kids in a school picnic. Brownie points for making us feel young. 2) You will have to pay Rs.800 more for just using the gas stove while the cost of the whole cylinder is only 800 and I guess no one can use even 30% of it overnight. 3) You cannot leave or enter the property after 10PM, which was something we were able to compromise on, again something you should know. The other issues we faced were, the water filter doesn't do much so you end up drinking tap water. The hand pipes in most of the restrooms didn't work either. The speaker connected to the TV had some loose connections and hence you need to have DJ who plays the songs and holds the wire the entire time. The property over all looked spacious and decent.

My stay at the olive inn was nothing short of a nightmare. The pool, advertised as a highlight, was badly maintained with an accumulation of dust and debris, rendering it uninviting and unusable. Even more alarming was the discovery of a snake skin in the kitchen sink, raising serious hygiene concerns and leaving me uneasy about the overall cleanliness of the property. To add insult to injury, the TV remote was dysfunctional, leaving me without any entertainment options during my stay. The absence of on-call maintenance meant that these issues went unresolved, exacerbating my dissatisfaction. The restroom was not spared either, as I encountered a frog, turning a supposedly relaxing space into an unsettling one. As if these issues weren't enough, the taps in various areas were loose-fitted, making basic tasks like washing hands or taking a shower an exercise in frustration. This home stay house falls drastically short in terms of maintenance, cleanliness, and overall guest experience. I strongly caution against choosing this accommodation for an unpleasant and disappointing stay.

This place was highly disappointing and poorly maintained. From the moment we entered, we encountered a series of issues. The television remote was inoperative, the Wi-Fi was not enabled, and there was a complete lack of service, even for basic requests such as assistance with cleaning the floor. Additionally, the swimming pool's water was unclean. Furthermore, our experience took a concerning turn when we discovered snake skin in the kitchen sink the following morning. This was particularly alarming as we had small children with us, raising serious safety concerns. Overall, our stay was worse, unsatisfactory and unsettling experience.! Don't ever choose this property.

The location was close to Chennai and the property was well maintained. The pool was clean. However, 4.5 feet standard depth not great for adults and neither kids. Still we all had great fun at this property. I will recommend this place for group of people up to 8 adults.

My stay with my family members over here was so bad that a simple 5 day homestay turned into hellstay. Just look at the photos and you will know what will be the service, hygiene standard. On top of that a power failure for the whole night. Please go through the photos as they speak louder than words. DO NOT SUPPORT OLIVE INN UNLESS YOU WANT TO WASTE YOUR MONEY OR WISH TO MAKE YOUR STAY SUPER UNPLEASANT.

Just a perfect holiday spot for family and friends. Caretakers were very helpful, courteous and always readily available for service. Neat and tidy villa, with amazing privacy and safety. Private swimming pool is an added advantage. Highly recommended.

Good place to spend time with your family members and friends. Indoor swimming pool is there and Bedroom are awesome and you can enjoy the city view at night time in terrace. Overall you can get good memories before you leave.

Booked this property to throw a surprise bday party for my special one.. To my surprise, this property was beyond my expectations .Super sure, that you guys will never find a property like this(with indoor swimming pool) at tis price around ECR. And must mention about the staffs . They are very kind and helpful.. Spl thanks to Manager Mr.Das.. Sucha friendly human.. All my friends(12 members excluding me) appreciated me for picking this villa. Million thanks and much love to the entire "Olive Inn" team
