Excellent Stay at ibis Chennai Sipcot - Highly Recommended! I recently had the pleasure of staying at the ibis Chennai Sipcot, and I must say it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The hotel offers everything you need for a comfortable and pleasant stay -- clean, modern rooms, convenient location, and great amenities. What truly stood out, however, was the exceptional service. The staff members were warm, courteous, and always ready to assist with a smile. A special call-out to the front desk team, who went above and beyond to ensure that all my needs were met. Their professionalism and hospitality truly made a difference and set the tone for a memorable stay.

I would say I was satisfied but I wouldn't say fully satisfied because when it comes to the restaurant options, the choices remained limited and most of the time I was eating outside because they charge very high price for a very limited choice on their menu. But the good thing is that the hotel is located in an area where there are plenty of restaurants around. So this is not really a problem. When it comes to entertainment, again, I would say there is scope for improvement. Why not put a smart tv in every room instead of putting a tv with only local channels that most tourists will not be watching. With a smart tv, one would be able to choose really what one wants to watch. Like it's the case in hotels like Ibis Styles.

Truly best in their class of budget hotels. Cleanliness is impressive, quiet corridors. Friendly staff and prompt service. Their breakfast buffet, though limited, is fresh and delicious. Nabaj who was our server was friendly, prompt and efficient.

Reception stuff weren't the friendliest, only 1 staff was warm and smiley when requesting you for review your at the end (seems quite practical). We checked in at 8pm due to an afternoon flight, so there shouldn't be any reasons why the hotel room isn't properly cleaned. The room only had 1 set of everything (drinking water, drinking glass, clothes hanger, vanity kit, towel, no slippers) when we were two guests and we had to separately request for these, which is fine. The shower gel was already empty when one of us went to wash up first, took them a while to come back with the refill. Toilet paper was also super low and didn't look changed or tidied (no triangle fold). Space was moderate, cleanliness was questionable. The toilet bowl had some uncleaned poop stain, shower head has strange filth sticking from where the water flow out from. Safe in wardrobe was faulty, turns out it's low on battery and the technician only came at 11pm+ despite us reporting about it shortly after we entered our room at 8pm+. Bed was too soft (in the bad way?), sheets weren't in the best condition. Towels were white-turned-GREY, looking very, very used. Didnt have the best or most decent stay, and also didn't expect this for a hotel under Accor. The only plus point is how it's further in from entrance, which feels a bit more private and safe, though getting Ubers was inconvenient as the pick up always changes to Novotel for some reason.

Overall, it was a good stay. However, I would like to highlight one issue: the AC in our room was not working properly. We informed the staff, and while they did provide a table fan as an alternative, it would be better if all amenities, especially essential ones like the AC, are checked and fully functional before allocating rooms to guests.

The hotel is situated very close to IT park. Convenient for executives coming for a short business stay. Pricing is OK. Food is good. Tabish gave a good service at the restaurant. The thing which u did not like was the bath towel which has turned almost greyish instead of white. Which u felt very uncomfortable to use. Rest all OK.

Excellent hospitality...clean rooms, cooperating staff...buffet breakfast was quite sumptuous with quite a great spread especially Bipasha assisted us and helped us all during our meal . Excellent job done
