Bargur Hillside Resort

We had a wonderful time at the resort! The food was delicious, and the deluxe room was clean, spacious, and had a lovely view. Parking was easy and hassle-free. The staff were friendly and made us feel right at home. We also appreciated the privacy provided during phool time.

Our family's stay at this resort was truly unforgettable! The staff and owners were warm, welcoming, and went out of their way to ensure our stay was exceptional. Our room was immaculate, comfortable, and had a lovely view. The homemade South Indian food was delicious. We loved the private swimming time, play area for kids, peaceful surroundings, and the private campfire. Although there's nothing to explore in the surrounding hills, this resort is ideal for families and friends seeking a peaceful environment to spend quality time together. If you're traveling from Bengaluru, avoid the Kollegal-Anthiyur road due to its poor condition and safety concerns. Instead, take the Dharmapuri-Mettur-Anthiyur route, which is 40km longer but a safer and more reliable option.

A delightful climate, picturesque surroundings, a tranquil atmosphere, thoughtfully designed facilities, and still budget-friendly. Overall, it offers a comprehensive leisure experience away from the urban chaos. However, aside from the jeep safari, a ride solely on the Mysore Hill Road may not be worthwhile, so it's important to confirm the right conditions for wildlife viewing. The management should be more considerate in their recommendations to avoid unnecessarily increasing guest's expenses. Nevertheless, there are no significant complaints; the resort is highly appreciated and the team is commendable.

The room was not cleaned when we arrived, and they hadn't noticed that there were a lot of insects inside. They have so many rules and regulations that it completely ruined the mood of our trip. It felt like being in a school, with strict timings for everything--food, pool, etc. There were no outdoor games available, and only one indoor game (carrom), which was in poor condition. It was a waste of money. Please don't be misled by paid promotions.

People working in the resort are absolutely caring and genuine. The owner and their family are super cool to talk to. I got an opportunity to discuss with them. Visit once without expecting to explore. Take a break and enjoy the early morning scenes

We recently visited, Burgur is a developing Hills station which is really good plan for a trip based on seasons! Particularly Resort is very good and safe and the rooms and types are good for families and friends! Specially their food is very authentic country style and it's very tasty (Little bit costly but it's worth) I really thank to the cook for the good and delicious food Things to improve -Food arrangment in terms of doorstep service to the guest is very poor , guest have to come to the restaurant to have food We are coming to enjoy there but it's seems like a military or a school camp because they are providing foods based on particular time period due to manpower! -Room service On this part resort service is not upto the level, because if any emergency or a local shops and others things to buy means resort team is not supporting vechile or a other options even we ready to pay tips for the service , they are not taking care of this ! If both the points they rectify, sure it will be a good packed place I can agree since the surrounding are developing hill station it's hard to access easy !! But adding staff or in charging staff for these kind of service makes the guest happy even better

This is very good place to have fun and entertainment . Located in amazing location with good ambience. Food is extremely good and made with out any preservatives . Natural fresh water is used in Swiming pool without any chlorination . Rates are very reasonable and staff are very friendly Overall it's a good place to have fun and enjoyment with family

The location was so remote and did not have proper road to get there... Better to avoid going there on a Sedan car... From our dormitory room to the swimming pool was a hike and to restaurant was a long hike on unpaved rocky terrain
