Yaa Residency near VIT

I stayed at Yaa Residency during my time at VIT, and honestly, it's one of the best places you can find near the campus especially if you're on a budget but don't want to compromise on quality. The rooms are really clean and spacious, and the bed was super comfortable. We had 24/7 water, which is something many places around don't provide reliably. There's also a kitchen available, so if you enjoy cooking or just want to save money on food, it's a great option. The Wi-Fi worked well throughout my stay, and when I needed to relax, there was a TV in the bedroom which made it feel more like home. It's peaceful, well-maintained, and honestly feels more like a home. If you're looking for a good, affordable place near VIT, I'd definitely recommend Yaa Residency!

We had a pleasant stay at Yaa residency. The place is located close to VIT but google maps routing did not take us to the exact location. The host is very responsive and guided us to the location over phone. We booked the whole house with two bedrooms. The rooms are spacious equipped with king beds, AC and attached bathrooms. Theres also enough space for parking. Overall great value for money and our family enjoyed our stay at Yaa residency!

I stayed at Yaa Residency couple of days during our second visit to VIT Vellore to pick our daughter for semester vacation. I was guided and picked up at Jn during early morning. Host was super supportive, care taker during day, amenities and the home was maintained well. I concerned travel alone from WB ,but i felt a safe and comfortable stay.

Excellent Homestay in Vellore - Just Like Home! We stayed at this wonderful homestay in Vellore for a day, and everything exceeded our expectations. The entire place was extremely clean and well-maintained. The hall was spacious, and each room had its own TV, making it very comfortable for all of us. One of the best things was that we didn't have to carry anything from home - everything was already available there. The kitchen was fully equipped, there was RO water for drinking, and even the bathrooms were spotless. It truly felt like a home away from home. The owner, Arun, gave us a warm welcome and was very caring and attentive throughout our stay. We had come for treatment at CMC Vellore, and this homestay provided us with the peace and comfort we were looking for during such a time. There was also ample car parking space, which was a great plus. Being a new property, everything felt fresh, neat, and thoughtfully arranged. Overall, this is one of the best homestays in Vellore, especially for families coming for CMC. Highly recommended!

During our visit to attend an event at VIT Vellore, we stayed at Yaa Residency, which is conveniently located just beyond the VIT campus. While Google Maps directs you through the VIT gate, the actual access road is right next to the campus. The owner was extremely helpful in coordinating and escorting guests to the property. The residency is well-built, and the owner is friendly and accommodating, ensuring a comfortable stay. They provided essentials like WiFi access and toiletries in advance. For a budget-friendly stay, this is one of the best options in town and is suitable for all types of groups. Vellore Fort is about 6-7 km away. Though we only stayed for the night and didn't use the pantry, it was well-equipped. Everything, including the water pressure in the restroom and the AC, functioned perfectly. A few minor improvements--such as upgrading the fan, installing a larger bathroom sink, and adding a stool for the bucket--could further enhance the stay. Overall, a great experience! Kudos to the owner for maintaining the property so well.

Excellent rooms, a friendly and extremely helping host, fully functional kitchen, adjacent to the VIT campus, safe to move around the location even at late night, I couldn't have asked for more. Thank you Arun for hosting us. We are definitely choosing your place for our next visit to Vellore.

I stayed here for work purposes and had a safe and comfortable experience. Since I was arriving late, I was picked up from the railway station, which was very convenient. The stay was clean, well-lit, and well-ventilated. One suggestion I have is that basic cooking should be allowed at no additional cost, as this is a homestay. Simple meals like Maggi, tea, or even khichdi should be an option, allowing guests to truly experience the benefits of a homestay. Additionally, having a caretaker available at night for emergencies would be helpful. Overall, it was a good stay.
