"Had a wonderful stay at this hotel on the ECR highway in Pondicherry! The location was perfect, with the beach just a stone's throw away. The hotel itself was spotless and well-maintained, with friendly and attentive staff. The complimentary breakfast was a nice touch, although the options were a bit limited. However, the service throughout the hotel was truly superb. Special mention to the security person who went above and beyond to help us find local spots around the hotel - their kindness and willingness to assist were much appreciated! Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient base in Pondicherry."

pleasant and peaceful Recently I started with my family for two day misty ocean our staying was a pleasant experience. The hotel offered a welcoming atmosphere and comfortable Stay.the room was clean and spacious with all basic amenities. Staff The staff was polite and attentive.they are quick to assist us with any queries and made sure our stay was hassle free.

I had a wonderful stay at Misty Ocean Hotel. The rooms were spotlessly clean, and the location was perfect, offering a peaceful and silent atmosphere near the beach. The owner gave a warm welcome and was very down-to-earth, making us feel at home. The complimentary breakfast was delicious, adding to the great experience. All the staff were kind and helpful, but a special mention goes to Bernald, whose caring attitude toward guests was truly appreciated. As someone from Andhra, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay by the beach. Would definitely visit again!

Welcoming staff with very nice and hygienic food. The rooms have very good ambience. The roof top view of the beach is an highlight. Thank you Mr. Girish for treating us well and taking care of us

The property is well-maintained with clean, spacious rooms, ample parking, and 24-hour security and front desk service. The staff is attentive and responsive. The room service is a bit slower. It's conveniently located on the highway, just a 15-minute drive from Pondicherry city center. The breakfast spread is generous and well-prepared. Overall, it's a great place to stay

3.5 stars for the hotel. 5/5 Rooms are spacious - king bed comfortably fits couple and kid below 6 years. There is an another bed to accommodate another adult. TV was smart with great in built apps to keep you entertained! 2/5 Bathroom had foul smell and tiny cockroaches playing hide and seek. Cleanliness is poor and needs a lot to of improvement. Especially the stinking bathroom And cockroaches say a sorry state. 2/5 Parking : very cramped entry and exits for parking - unorganised Service is pretty average- no one seems bothered whether you check in or check out. Complimentary Breakfast was good with idly/dosa / bread butter / sambar and eggs. Location : auro beach is near by

We stayed at the hotel for two days, checking in on February 8, 2025, and checking out on February 10, 2025. Unfortunately, our overall experience was not satisfactory. We booked two double-bed rooms for our party of four. The rooms themselves were spacious, clean, and well-lit, but the management and food quality fell short of expectations. Upon our arrival, the receptionist and the manager informed us that there was no record of our booking and suggested moving us to a nearby hotel, offering a triple-sharing suite with an extra bed at an additional charge. We clarified that we were two separate families with distinct room bookings, but the manager seemed rushed and inattentive. Eventually, we contacted our booking agent, who reached out to higher authorities to resolve the issue, and we were finally assigned two separate rooms in the same hotel. Unfortunately, no one helped us with our luggage, and we had to carry it ourselves. Additionally, there were no napkins or bath mats provided in the rooms, and the cleanliness of the bath towels was inadequate. Our booking included dinner, but the service was very poor, and the vegetable dishes we ordered were tasteless and lacked quality. On the second day, we left the keys for cleaning, but when we returned at night, there were no tea bags, sugar, or milk sachets provided. We had to go to the reception personally to request these items, as the intercom service was out of order. The breakfast also did not meet our expectations in terms of taste and quality. Overall, our experience was disappointing, primarily due to subpar reception, room service, and management. We share this feedback with the hope of helping the hotel improve its standards rather than as a formal complaint.

There's no hand wash and no lights in the women's restroom. There's no temperature control for A.C and have to request them multiple times to switch it on. Food is very bad ordered noodles and got different shapes of carrots, an amateur staff made it. Do not recommended the price and service doesn't tally. Eating in a moderate hotel is better than eating here..
