Vivera Grande (Hotel)

Whenever, I visit Dindigul, I prefer this property. Comfortable check-in by the courteous front desk staff. Excellent room. Little disappointment - only on our request, the soiled bed linen was changed by the housekeeping staff. Tasty food and very good breakfast spread. Restaurant staff were courteous and friendly. Parking area in the basement was dark in day time and was a challenge to park the vehicle. Value for money..

I unfortunately ended up booking this hotel on Valentine's Day, which meant the prices were doubled like 5,000 for their Executive Double, exactly twice the usual rate. Despite this, the check-in process was smooth, and they upgraded me to a more upscale named room, Deluxe Elegant (if I remember correctly). The room looks great in photos, and was spacious but poorly maintained. The lighting was dim, making the space feel dull. The kettle power switch didn't work (it was broken inside), and even after requesting a fix 3 to 4 times, nothing was done. The mini fridge was completely nonfunctional and flooded inside. The chairs seemed to be a cockroach sanctuary. The water and washbasin had a persistent unpleasant smell. The food was just okay, but the prices were on higher side. The only real advantage of this hotel is its location. It's easily accessible from the main road, has some underground parking, and is close to hospitals and essential shopping areas. I didn't intentionally book this for Valentine's Day, but the inflated pricing due to the date MADE IT FEEL EVEN LESS WORTHWHILE. I chose this place because it seemed like the only decent option with parking and a good location, but beyond its exterior appeal, it turned out to be an ill managed and poorly maintained property. Would I stay here again? Not unless they seriously improve their maintenance and service standards.

Beware of marketing strategy,else you will end up buying things without realising. They keep stuffs like snacks, chocolate, drinks in the room and they don't explicitly mention it if it's free or paid. If you use any of them ,they will bill you during checkout. It's a very smart trick to let customer compulsive choose them. Otherwise,Liked the hotel, specially the location, rooms were nice, staff are great and helpful. Breakfast was amazing too. However

Had booked for super deluxe elegant room and was assigned room 205. It was a shabby room with zero maintenance. The ac was not functioning and the maintenance staff tried to fix it which I did not allow as I had a 2 month old baby and could not accept a 4 star functioning in that condition. On raising my concern with the reception they moved me to 407 which was a good room. But the entire experience would have been great if the allocated room was having a working ac and maintained. The picture I've attached here shows how the rubber beadings of the window is torn off that too in a room with ac. The breakfast buffet was good with sufficient spread. On request they also provided plain dosa and omelette which tasted very good. The people and food are good here, but infrastructure not much. If they do the maintenance well, then this would be a great place to stay.

We're delighted with our decision to choose this hotel! The service was top-notch, particularly from Ms. Nandhini, who took great care of us.||The banquet staff were also commendable, always greeting us with a warm smile and pleasant demeanor. Their hospitality made our stay truly enjoyable.

We stayed at this property on 27th April 2025. While the hotel is fairly well maintained overall, the bathrooms and bed covers are in need of better upkeep. The housekeeping team appears to be understaffed, which affects their efficiency -- likely due to a heavy workload. On a positive note, the front office staff were polite and made sincere efforts to address any concerns that arose during our stay. Overall, it was a noticeably better experience compared to Parsons Court.

Hotel and restaurant staff isn't attentive. We have water leakage issue in bathroom under wash basin, it has not been fixed. We booked for 3 people, only 1 towel was provided along with 2 bottles of water. There does not seem to be any thought process, despite us calling them several times nobody came. In the restaurant as well, they took the order only to come back to us after 30mts and said they did not have the item available (dal makhani). They could have told this while taking rhr order itself. Overall bad experience so far.

The rooms and complimentary breakfast was good. Swimming pool was also tidy and clean. Staffs in the restaurant were diligently working. Issue I faced was during the checkin the staff present in the reception does not know how to behave. Was not giving proper information. The another staff present at that time was yelling at him.
