Everything needs to be better! If you do not have any other options in and around that area in Avadi, can crash for a night and then search for an alternative. The folks are good though. Multiple issues in the room which we got - AC did not work properly, water leakage straight into the pillow, tap in the washroom does not work, tv doesn't start, no shower facility , not clean enough

Good stay with family from this hotel you can go to kanchipuram and mahabalipuram with in 1.5hrs by car, its near to avadi railway station as well. Room is good but mosquitoes are the problem, staff ppl donno english or hindi they just manageable. They have charged early checkin charges from us i.e 400 for 4 as they say 24/7 checkin but still they charge the amount. This hotel is away from the city but no problem you can reach the city by mmts lot of trains are available. No lift its very hard to pick the Luggage from ground floor to 2 floors. Oyo services are at 2nd floor. Its a function hall. There's no Restaurant Available at the hotel. If your planing to cover Kanchipuram and Mahabalipuram this place is good for night stays. Its ok for family as well.

When I book room in OYO it showed 660 rs. When I go to the location they said the minimum charge is 1200. If I refuse to pay, they are asking us to call customer care.. worst experience ever had. I am not sure whether it is oyos issue or hotel rooms issue.. This is something to be seriously addressed to consumer court.

Okayish room with bright white lights. No customer service at reception. The staff barely spoke anything other than Tamil. No hot water in the bathroom. No soap. No electric kettle. The TV and DTH didn't even turn on. The telephone was dead so you had to go down 3 floors to the reception even for the wifi password.

Best place to stay with family and friends

On the highway at Avadi. Rooms are ok. No outside view. Space is compromised inside room. Though it is shown as party hall in ground floor, we did not notice it as functioning when we entered at around 9.00 PM. Availability of public transport is slightly difficult. No shops nearby which is a negative. Not recommended for travellers who has to depend on public transport and outside food and or other emergency purchases. Rooms are available only on the second floor. No lift facility is definitely negative. Also no tea/coffee or breakfast is available at the lodge or at any other place near to it. Overall not a place to consider for stay.

The worst experience one could have with oyo rooms. This place is not up to the standards of oyo. I am a regular oyo customer of different places in Chennai, Kerala and Karnataka. This is my initial experience. No electricity backup, no wifi connectivity and totally a chaos ambience. Even then the get customers because this is the only place near Avadi where a family can live.
