Serenest Resort In Kotagiri

My personal experience was terrible but good things first. Good part: Amazing view from terrace, dining area and actually a very serene location. Caretaker behaviour was so good that it felt like home. The food was home cooked right in front of us so that's another amazing thing. Bad stuff: But here is the catch, the room that I got was so suffocating and damp that both me and my wife woke up to headaches on both the days of our stay. That particular room photos are not given in app nor in Google. it had no windows, no ac, no basic air circulation. Room was moist and damp all over. I think the other rooms had windows but unfortunately even after booking a deluxe room, I had to endure that suffocating cave like room. Although as compensation I was provided free breakfast by the property.

Im the most satisfied customer.ill give you 5 star rating from ur services.Actually last min we searched for rooms at kotagiri.the next day is my f b day. I dont have an idea. But serenity give the most peacefull place to celebrate the birthday. The persons were helped me till 12 o clk very supportive,. Thank you so much sir for the great experience. Will soon book for the next occasion.espcially clean rooms and restrooms nice gesture.ill refer everyone to book this rooms who need peacefull site to stay.

Best staycation in Kotagiri in affordable price.. we loved the view from the terrace, and the food was awesome, we enjoyed the food and service was good.. the caretakers are extremely helpful and helped us in each and every possible ways.. loved the stay, perfect staycation for family.

My wife and myself stayed im serenest for 3 nights. The stay is comfortably located before reaching kothagiri, on the way to Catherine falls. Its in a quiet location. The rooms were located in the basement and had comfortable amenities for a pleasant stay. The view from the balcony is quite great in the mornings and evenings. Its only 2 km from the place to the main town and nearby the stay all basic facilities are available. I should say that i am really impressed by the hospitality offered by the hosts. A friendly family feeling was always there. The food needs to be ordered earlier and it's really tasty and quite good quantity and really economical. Since there are no restaurants within walking distance having food from serenest is most preferable. I should thank our hostess for her tasty food. Moreover i had become unwell during the last day of stay and our hosts were so accommodating and help that he volunteered to come and help us at the clinic. Overall i recommend serenest to all families and thank you again dear hosts.

I just came back from a 2 night stay at their place. The owner Mr.Sreepathy is a very friendly and helpful person, who gave lot of inputs about places to visit and activities that can be done. Decent place. And a very good caretaker. Decent food. Nice location. Easily accessible by all modes of transport. I felt the price was a little bit on the higher side, considering there was no complimentary breakfast and facilities very rudimentary. Overall I liked the place. A more favorable price would have made it even more likeable.

This homestay is located on the road which leads catherine waterfalls. The stay was lovely, the person raking care of the place was very friendly and his spouse made awesome food during our (me, wife and our 5 yr old kiddo)stay here. I felt the room charges were on the higher side as the bed wasnt enough for 3 of us, restroom needs to be better (not about cleanliness). But overall it was a good stay and great food.

The room is good except the dungeon smell which reminds your hostel life if you had one. Otherwise the host was welcoming and did the needful. He offered a decent meal with additional charges.
