Grand Madurai by GRT Hotels

The staff is extremely helpful and courteous. The hotel is clean with ample safe parking on site. The front desk staff makes your check in easy and smooth. The rooms are comfortable with all necessary amenities. Many different pillows are available as per need. A nice little touch is the direction of Meenakshi and Thurupurankundram temple stickers on the window. The food quality, both in room and restaurant is excellent. The staff involves the guests in many different celebrations, which makes the stay more memorable.

I had a lovely stay at the grand Madurai, and the breakfast spread was impressive. The rooms were new and clean. The hotel is a 20 minute drive from the meenakshi Amman temple, and not walking distance away. I also hired a driver (David), through the hotel to take me to rameshwaram. he was excellent and kind. took me on a drive post my temple visit, around rameshwaram and was my guide. He was patient, polite and kind! India is made up of incredible kindness, and I miss that every time I leave India. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The hotel is new, 2 years old. The rooms are very spacious and you get a view of the Meenakshi Temple. Rooms on the 6th floor have a nice view. The buffet is excellent- non spicy and quite a layout. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is located near the airport around 20 mins away. They also have a nice swimming pool, yoga room, gym and spa. Great place to stay in Madurai!

Overall, the experience was satisfactory. The hotel offers a beautifully designed ambience and an impressive spread of delicious buffet options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. However, the value for money was lacking, as the rooms were relatively small and did not justify the premium pricing. Additionally, there were issues with the WiFi and phone lines, making it difficult to contact the front desk for any troubleshooting or assistance. Arranging transportation was also challenging, as the front desk team, despite assurances, was unable to provide timely support in securing a cab or taxi.

What a gem of hotel it is. It's rare to see such hospitality these days. Hotel policies are focused on making guest experience as comfortable as possible. Everything was top notch either its bedding, TV , bathroom, buffet spread. Gym , swimming pool , spa , yoga room, longue, everything was upto the mark and luxurious. I recommend everyone to take grand club room which will come with 15 mins complimentary foot massage, longue access and other facilities and discounts.

Hello GRT people, I stayed there a few days ago and it was a pleasant experience for me. It was like my home and we stayed there. Whenever I go out somewhere urgently, I leave all my belongings as they are. When I come back, everything is neatly folded. Even the important things are left outside. I go safely and securely. I forgot the name of that supervisor. I stayed on the 5th floor. Thank you GRT people.

Simply amazing. Worth every penny spent. Rooms were impeccable and service was excellent. I stayed for 2 nights and had no time to try their spa or other facilities. Breakfast spread was pretty decent and quality of food was good. If you are opting for a view pls ask for high floor with the Madurai meenakshi Amman temple view. The only setback was the location. Pretty far off from the city.

I would like to keep the review short and sweet. Exceptional and excellent starting with the front desk and housekeeping staff: Rishi, Narmadha, Vishal and Melvin were exceptional, kind and always served us with a smile on their face. The food was exceptional too, the head chef and all the restaurant staff were also very very good.| The experience was truly remarkable and my family and i enjoyed it.
