Raja Residency RR

Near Isha Yoga Centre,I would say Raja residency is the best option to stay. Rooms are very clean, staff is very supportive and fare is affordable. Cafe within the hotel premises provides good food. Taste is very good like home made food. Must try.

I stayed there for one night and had a good experience. I had pre-booked it through Agoda and found it to be great value for money. There's ample parking available, so no issues on that front. It's located about 8.8 km from the Isha Yoga Centre, with plenty of shops, restaurants, and stores nearby. Overall, I had a pleasant and hassle-free stay.

Room and facilities were very good for the price. The owners and staff were very accommodating to requests such as early and late check-in, luggage storage, arranging auto/ taxi to Isha Yoga Center. Staff were also very helpful. Location is very convenient to Isha Yoga Center- only a 15 minutes auto ride/ taxi drive. Very happy that I chose Raja Residency for my stay this time.

I received this very rude, uncouth and totally uncalled for response from Raja Residency, Coimbatore about a day after I posted my review on Google. Hence I have downgraded my overall rating from 3 stars to 1 star (Actually ZERO STARS is the most appropriate as the management of Raja Residency allowed this uncivilized attack / character assassination on a group of 4 ladies on a spiritual visit to Isha on the eve of Maha Shivaraatri on 25th February 2025). Some corrections below on the points raised in their emotional and poorly worded & grammatically incorrect response filled with spelling mistakes. 1. We booked through Agoda and requested for a bed for the fourth person (and paid) well in advance (2 weeks ahead) of our check in date 2. Not sure what OTA means but we expected exactly what was stated on Agoda. Nothing more and nothing less. Contrary to what was claimed by the Hotel Manager, there is no statement on Agoda that hot water is only available from 6 am to 10 am. In fact, 7 categories of featured amenities are listed in great length under Family Room 4 with shower. Many were not provided to us (toiletries, coffee / tea maker, kettle, free instant coffee, microwave}. 3. We did not behave rudely. We had to go to the reception counter several times to enquire about toilet tissues, hot water etc. 4. Many of the facilities detailed in Agoda (in point 2 above) were not provided to us. All we wanted was that the hotel provides what was promised. 5. If this a decent family hotel, the management would not have answered a customer complaint in this defensive and MOST INDECENT MANNER. Their reply exposes their total lack of respect, manners and courtesy. If the hotel is affiliated with ISHA, this kind of behavior is even more APPALLING. 6. If the management is sexist / misogynistic and is offended by a group of 4 ladies who merely asked for the services promised to be provided, nothing more needs to be said. Their behavior is now exposed for everyone on Google to see. 7. Rooms are small in size, around 11ftx11ft. But they are clean and well maintained. Parking space is limited in the front, so we happened to park across the road. The hot water is only available in a few rooms i.e., 201, 301.. like that. But the receptionist was not upfront about it and we, in other rooms happened to waste a lot of time and water in trying to get it. Apart from this, it is in the midst of nature and near the Isha center.

Raja Residency RR is a great place to stay and just 7kms away from Isha Yoga Centre. It's on the main road itself. They have various types of rooms - AC, Non-AC, dormitories etc. The service is good. The owners are very friendly and will guide you about nearby attractions. The support staff is also very good. They dont serve full breakfast, but do have facility of snacks, tea, coffee in the morning and evening. Decent parking space also available. Rooms are very spacious.

Near to Isha Center on the road. Parking space for roughly 4 cars and 10 bikes in front. At this price point, the rooms are super clean and location is very nice. They have a cafe/in-room service with good breakfast and food options.

The stay was pleasant and the host was friendly and accommodating. Especially the cafe was really good. The food quality was close to home food. Overall worth the price, will stay here next time. Thanks!
