Aside from the breathtaking view from the terrace, there is very little to commend about this space. The service is subpar, and the food is overpriced, with quality far below even that of local street vendors. This feedback is intended for two groups: Travelers: I recommend not making a decision based solely on the published photos. Hotel Management: Immediate action is needed to address these issues and improve the overall experience. The property has great potential due to its beautiful location, but it is currently maintained at a level that falls short of expectations for the price.

The resort is impeccably clean, and every detail reflects their commitment to quality. The highlight of the stay was undoubtedly the stunning view from my Deluxe Double Room with Balcony. It was a perfect setting to unwind and enjoy the beauty of the surroundings. The room was well-equipped with modern amenities, including a smart TV with YouTube, which added a touch of convenience and entertainment. For the price, the experience was absolutely worth it. I highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway. You won't be disappointed!

Ceylony Panorama Hotel We stayed here from November 24-26, 2024, as part of our Sri Lanka tour organized by Kingfisher Sri Lanka Tours. I must say, this was one of the most memorable hotels I've ever stayed at, thanks to its fantastic views! Perched at one of the highest points in Kandy, the hotel offers breathtaking vistas of the surrounding high mountains covered in lush greenery and the meandering river circling the city! Adding to the serenity is a majestic statue of Buddha visible in the distance, a calming presence that enhances the tranquil atmosphere. The gentle, pleasant drizzles during our stay added a magical touch, making the views even more mesmerizing and the air delightfully fresh. Every room and the restaurant faces the valley, providing dramatic, panoramic views, and the spacious gallery extending into the valley offers an unforgettable experience. It truly feels like you're staying among the clouds! The staff were humble, helpful, and courteous, adding to the overall charm of our stay. The rooms were spacious, furnished adequately with clean linen and soft beds. The bathrooms were clean, featuring a shower cubicle, although, needs some maintenance! Breakfast was offering a decent spread of local delicacies but we preferred eating fruits and eggs! All in all, we had a wonderful stay that made us forget everything else around us. The serenity, beauty, and unique ambiance of this hotel make it a true gem, and our time here will remain etched in our memories!

The hotel is located up the hill overlooking Kandy town. I can see the giant Buddha statue from my room's balcony and it looks amazing! The amenities is very basic but the room is comfortable and clean.

Being our first time in Sri Lanka, we 100% booked this property based on the photos on bookings.com and really had high hopes for our stay. My hopes plummeted immediately on realising how far it was from everything - obviously the price to pay for the view which was AMAZING. aaaaannnddd the view was where it ended. The hotel was not maintained on the cleanliness front, the food was well below average and the room was just a basic room without even so much as a blanket. The facilities weren't maintained well and I felt like I didn't want to touch anything. The aircon in our room was on its last leg and made noise the whole night.

Breathtaking view & room.very clean all the room area. I have booked a suit room with a half board package. But sorry to say I'm really disappointed about the food they provide to us.foods are like a normal restaurant.nothing special.if you are going to select a suit room or normal room, please don't book with food.also i have requested room decorations for anniversary.they have promised to do that free of charge.but there were no any room decorations they have done.

Review of Ceyloni Panorama Hotel, Kandy, Sri Lanka I have stayed in many hotels worldwide, including Sri Lanka, but this was by far the worst in terms of service. While the hotel offers a beautiful view, the service was extremely disappointing. We stayed for two days, but there was no room service to clean the room, replace towels, or refill the coffee. When we requested additional towels, the person managing room service rudely insisted on a limit of two towels per day, speaking to us as if we were in a prison. When I asked to speak to the manager, he claimed there was none and abruptly hung up the phone. It was only after going to the reception and speaking with the senior manager--a polite and professional individual--that we received two extra towels. However, we experienced similar rude behavior when requesting coffee. The view is undoubtedly stunning, but the service at this hotel needs significant improvement. Update: The management's response to my review has been equally appalling. Instead of addressing the issues and offering an apology, they fabricated excuses and shifted the blame onto us. Their response shows a lack of professionalism and a refusal to take responsibility for their shortcomings.
