The hotel is about 500 meters from Outram Station and Singapore General Hospital -- within walking distance. The room is fairly spacious and clean. Check-in is at 3 PM and check-out is at 11 AM. There is a bus stop right across from the hotel, making it easy to get around.

I arrived for check in late on the evening of 4/4, 12:40am. No one was at the check in desk to do check in (the check in desk is not staffed from 11pm to 7am). A sign displayed next to the check in desk says to press the button at the counter to summon someone or to call a specified local number. Pressing the button for 5 minutes did nothing, and I had to figure out how to use WhatsApp to call the local number to finally get someone to come help me (This was really difficult to do as I was using a eSIM and cannot simply use my phone to call a local number). I've never stayed at a hotel, especially one that's supposedly 4 star, where there is no one at the check in desk to help you in the late evening. This is a new experience in over 20 years of travelling. For the room itself: - Whenever you use the sink there is a loud draining sound that comes from the shower drain that is disturbing. - The pillows are not very comfortable. - The flooring of the room is not comfortable to walk on. - In general, the room decor is spartan like an office. The location of the hotel is the only reason why one may want to stay there. It's located close to the Tiong Bahru market area which is great for food, and there's a few decent Chinese restaurants right next to the hotel that is opened till like 3am.
When I booked the hotel I was a bit apprehensive since the price was under $200 Singapore Dollars, 4 start. I was very pleasantly surprised. The room was very clean and spacious. Well managed building. Only thing I can comment will be the lobby should have a bit more well stocked with coffee / drinks etc. Also this could be an Asian thing that the toilet was a wet toilet. The toilet and shower were in the same enclosure. It was a big odd for me.
The hotel is not new, but come with rather good room condition. It is near to Havelock mrt and many buses to other location in Singapore. Quiet place with good food choices nearby. I have to highlight the Chinese cleaner (young lady) was very friendly. It was really great to get some help from her on my first day of arrival. Such a kind person!
At checkin no one told me that was available a gym. I really needed and i discovered it when i checked out. VERY BAD. Also, for a 4 star hotel i think is bad: - only 2 towel (big) no small towel for the face/hands - no breakfast available.. in a 4 star hotel.. - found hairs on the floor - would be nice to offer at least a $1 bottle of water in a 4* hotel. It costs nothing and give a good service. Most hotels do that - cleaning service is EXTREMELY LOUD. I felt they did it on purpose to push people to wake up and leave the room, never experienced anything like that - i arrived 1 pm. The room was ready, yet to give it to me before 3 pm i was requested to register as member and be told that was a very special treatment. I mean.. i didnt early checked in at 9 am... i understand is guaranteed after 3 pm, but in EVERY hotel of this world, if the room is ready they just give it to u. Why let a customer wait keeping the room empty. No sense, i travel a lot and also this never ever happened in my life
Unusual round building but works. Location is good as it is walking distance to the Tiong Bahru hawker market for good breakfast or lunch. Walking distance to three of the MRT lines so can get to most of the island very easily. Very courteous staff. Room was large enough to have suitcases on the floor and still have plenty of room to walk around. Enjoyed our stay and would stay again. Also fairly close to the cruise ship terminal if taking a cruise.
The staff are very helpful and accommodating. The hotel provided complimentary snacks and drinks at the lobby for the guests. There are massage chairs which are also great addition to the overall experience. Thank you!
I regret choosing D'Hotel Singapore for my stay. This property is a far cry from what was promised and completely failed to meet the standards of a four-star hotel.||Upon arrival, we were given a room that was filthy and smelled strongly of mold and a harsh, acrid odor. The shower was missing a door, and the general cleanliness was appalling. The fridge was dirty, the carpet stained, and the bathroom tiles were grimy. This is not what you expect from any hotel, let alone one that claims to be four-star.||After complaining, we were moved to another room, which was supposedly an "upgrade." However, this room also had major issues: the bed was broken, making it impossible to sleep comfortably. There were only two towels and no other amenities such as bathrobes or slippers, which are standard for a hotel of this caliber. The hotel's customer service was also non-existent. I attempted to contact the hotel after 22:00 using the number provided, but no one ever answered.||I have stayed at other hotels within the same group in Singapore, and this one is a major disappointment. The management's lack of concern for the issues I raised and their failure to offer any real solution makes this experience unacceptable. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, and I will never be returning.||Save your money and book elsewhere.
