Arena eSports Hotel @ Orchard

My recent stay at Arena Esports Hotel in Orchard left much to be desired. While the hotel boasts a prime location and the concierge and staff were undeniably friendly and welcoming, the positives unfortunately ended there. The cleanliness of the room was a significant issue. Discovering dirty bedsheets upon arrival was certainly not a pleasant start to my stay. Furthermore, the noisy environment made it incredibly difficult to get any restful sleep. The lack of proper soundproofing in the rooms is a serious oversight and needs to be addressed. The shared facilities were even more concerning. The state of the toilets and showers was frankly unacceptable, with an unbearable odor that made them almost unusable. I honestly found myself considering using the facilities at a nearby mall instead, which speaks volumes about the conditions within the hotel. It also became apparent that the hotel is understaffed. Rooms were not cleaned daily, contributing to the overall lack of hygiene. While the friendly demeanor of the concierge and staff was a definite plus, and the central location is undoubtedly convenient, these aspects could not compensate for the significant shortcomings in cleanliness, noise levels, and the poor state of the shared facilities. In conclusion, despite the friendly staff and excellent location, I cannot recommend Arena Esports Hotel in its current state. The issues with cleanliness, noise, and the deplorable condition of the shared facilities need immediate attention.

Very conveniently located near Orchard Road. Walking distance to 2 MRT Stations I.e. Somerset and Dhoby Ghat.Many food and entertainment outlets very close by and below the Guesthouse.The share toilets were very clean as they were frequently cleaned. It was also air conditioned and therefore there was no odour.

Service was very pleasant with the receptionist always greeting and being friendly. Location is excellent with lots of venues to eat and hang out around. I wasn't the biggest fan of having to climb down from the bed every time I had to go to the bathroom but I understand that there are limitations in space. The one thing I genuinely didn't like was the bathroom since it's always a bit smelly (my room smelled a bit damp too). Also I was occasionally wondering why it's called an esports hotel while it actually has no PCs around

We had booked a room and opted for the shared bathroom facilities, so for those looking for the rooms with private bathrooms, you'll need to scroll to another review. Our room was clean and had the most comfortable mattress, and a very convenient small sofa and desk for our use. To those who are looking at the shared facilities and are unsure - do not fret! They were clean, well kept, toilets had bidet facilities for those requiring it, shower pressure was fantastic, and complementary shampoo and shower gel is in the shower cubicles, along with a hair dryer by the sinks. The hotel's location on Orchard Rd is brilliant for convenience with public transport and walking. The staff were incredible - to the gentleman who handled our check-in/out, thank you so much! You were so warm and kind to us, I feel terrible to have not gotten your name to be able to give you a personal shout out! To Arena upper management, he was working the 21-22 Nov, is a credit to you and I hope he is acknowledged for his diligence! I believe I am going to become a regular with this chain as my partner & I have had nothing but wonderful stays with them! We had stayed Arena's other premise in Bugis last year (2023), this year we were only staying in Singapore for one night and opted to try their Orchard premises in Cuppage Terrace as it was much closer to where our evening plans were located. We have raved about this chain endlessly to all our friends!

Location is very convenient in terms of walkable malls, public transportation and blend of eateries and convenience stores. Downside gotta be you can expect this place to be really crowded especially you gonna share toilet at such a rate in Singapore. It is located 1 st floor at drinking area so if you are light sleeper. You might or might not be lucky with the noise. Cleanliness at the toilet could be better but overall since alright for a simple stay at reasonable rate and convenient spot

The staff is very helpful and friendly, his name is ong from myanmar. I book 2 room for 1 night, the shared bathroom. For cleanliness is so so but not messy. Just in the curtains there are dust. Since it was shared bathroom many people use it but yea sometimes it's messy. The big minus here i stay at saturday, idk if this place is full of bar, so when night to dusk is very noisy. Gladly i was too tired bcs of traveling, so it just bother me to sleep 10 minutes

location is goodthis our 2nd time stay it was clean and quiet before this time have some lady boy sex workers stay in the property 7 pilpino lady boy bringing different man time by time i can hear the noise next room. they always stay outside in the kitchen day and night was very loud and noisy.i dont reccomend this for family w children sharing toilet.note upstair 2nd floor no elevatorr need to carry the luggages upstair.
