The Golden Crest Hotel

Overall the hotel was good , it was well managed and properly hygienic and all the safety measure were taken... Staff was also good and help us in all the way... Bikash singh was a good and kind hearted person he has taken care of all the things..

Premium yet budget friendly hotel. Rooms are spacious. However, location is bit far away from prime area of Gangtok ( mg marg). Also, there are hardly any resturants near by at a walkable distance. However, one can find sharing cab options just beside hotel and deorali taxi stand is just beside the hotel

We stayed at Golden Crest Hotel for 4 days and had a pleasant experience. The Executive and Premium rooms offer amazing views, making our stay even more enjoyable. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained, offering great value for money. The hotel is located about 2.5 km from MG Marg, but shared cabs are easily available, making commuting convenient. The in-house restaurant serves good pure vegetarian food, though the breakfast buffet has very limited options. It would be better if they included cut fruits and improved the South Indian dishes. Overall, it's a decent stay with comfortable rooms and great views, ideal for those looking for a budget-friendly yet quality experience in Sikkim.

Very poor maintenance, room was not cleaned properly, lights were dim for standard rooms. Water was not available in morning & TV Dish was not working as it wasn't recharged. Food was not hygienic and tasty. Not preferred for family that too paid almost 4K per room, worth 2k per day. I don't prefer for any family visits. Owner should take serious actions on maintenance.

Overall the experience was good. Vikas, Vishal and Deep have assisted us and have property taken care of our hospitality. Breakfast was also quite good. Dinner which we ordered in the room was also good and at considerably affordable rates.

My experience with Golden Crest Hotel was excellent. Its location is no less than a retreat, absolutely a privileged location because taxis are easily available. From cleanliness and food to room decor and staff behavior, Golden Crest in Gangtok is a great choice. Specifically, I would like to thank Bikash and Deep for their humbleness and assistance throughout.

I was in Gangtok for four days, and 2 days I booked this hotel. The room was not clean, the staff here is very unprofessional, they do not help you with the luggage, they'll just watch you if you struggle with the luggage but won't come to help you. We have to call many times at the reception just to get simple stuff done (towels, slippers, water).
