The best summer getaway in gangtok undoubtedly. The staff were so hospitable and special mention to the amazing infinity pool the property offers. I am coming back soon . Highly recommended for solo travellers, families and your loved ones.

When you visit a new place as a tourist, the location of the hotel plays a vital role. One doesn't want to sit in the hotel room however cozy that may be. By that yardstick, North Star Hotel in Gangtok is situated in a lousy location with horrible approach. Can you imagine the property doesn't even have proper staircase or ramp to approach the lobby? These types of hotels survive only with connivance of some tour operators who are only interested in putting their guests in some cozy rooms without bothering about the lousy and remotest possible location. STRONG ADVICE: NEVER STAY AT THIS PROPERTY ||By the way, I stayed in this hotel from 31st December 2024 to 2nd January 2025.

(Not sponsored) Best hotel to stay in Gangtok for a fantabulous Mountain View, especially during sunset and summer nights! The staffs were extremely sweet and helpful. They listened to all our requests and made it happen. Since we had to leave early by 4AM, they packed food for us. They definitely need a raise!! Worth every penny and time!
