SUMI SHANGRILA DEORALI GANGTOK

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Sumi Shangrila Hotel in Deorali, Gangtok, and it was a truly delightful experience. From the moment I walked in, the ambience of the hotel was impressive - warm, welcoming, and beautifully maintained, with a touch of elegance that added to the overall charm. The food and dining experience were top-notch. The meals were not only delicious but also neatly prepared, reflecting the care and attention put into each dish. The variety of options available ensured that every meal was a satisfying experience, and the quality of ingredients was evident in every bite. The staff at Sumi Shangrila were exceptional - professional, attentive, and always ready to assist with a smile. Their service truly stood out, making me feel at home throughout my stay. As for the rooms, they were impeccably clean and well-maintained, offering a comfortable and relaxing environment to unwind after a day of exploring Gangtok. Overall, my stay at Sumi Shangrila Hotel was fantastic, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Gangtok.

The hotel is located on the main road going up towards MG marg ( which is just 1.5 km away). The service was fantastic and I had a great experience. The staff is very polite, responsive and helpful. The rooms were clean and very nicely made. The interior was good. The food they served was also very delicious. I stayed here for 3 nights and 2 days. Overall the experience was great and I highly recommend it.

I recently stayed at Sumi shangrila deorali and had an amazing experience! The location is perfect--with stunning mountains view. The room was clean, spacious, and well-decorated, with a super comfortable bed. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Sayanika and Anup at restaurant served delicious food.

I had a wonderful experience during my stay in this hotel, and a big part of that was thanks to Sayanika and anup. From the moment I arrived, they are welcoming, courteous, and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure I was comfortable. Their professionalism and genuine hospitality made a lasting impression.

The hotel is good but if you get a room facing the road you will not be able to sleep because of the traffic which runs all night (trucks are allowed through town at night and the hotel is on a hill). We are travelling as a family but they split our rooms up and we were all put on different levels. I'm writing this at 5am because i have been awake all night from the noise. It may not mean much to other people but it does to me. We made our booking 2 months ago and if we had our originally booked rooms we would have been ok.

The stay at this hotel was quite memorable. The staff, including ms Sayinaka were quite responsive and attentive to the guest's needs. Our group utilised the breakfast and dinner package which was quite sumptious and tasty. Many thanks for the hospitality.

The hotel is aesthetic , the climate here is cold and cozy , the pillows are fluffy , The crew was very helpful , especially Astha who was very kind and served us with a big smile on her face , the food was fire , especially crispy Bhindi, and I found many boneless chicken pieces which I loved.

Nice hotel. Excellent location.. very courtious staff... especially Mr Vishal from front desk. Overall nice stay and value foe.money.. Family rooms.are really good
