It's not a hotel, it's an experience in itself. Though location is bit remote but ideal for people looking for lesuire Stay away from hustle bustle of city life. It is run by most humble and sweet family of Mr. Kazi sherpa, who is two times Mt. Everest climber Also, Mrs sherpa is a great cook. The view from their balcony is splendid Also they have got fireplace in the lobby of each room and bar counter

The place is tucked away in a small village in Burtuk. If you are looking for quite peaceful place to spend your vacation in Gangtok then this is the one. You can see Kanchenjunga range as well if you wake up early. Pet friendly, home cooked food, very warm and welcoming hosts.

It was very nice stay at Sherpa villa. It's so beautiful, it's not less than a resort. Views from mountain view room is amazing. Food was so good, it was mixed with love and affection of Sherpa madam. All the staffs are so welcoming including Dextor (Dog), Lucky (dog) and Simi( Cat).Dextor came to parking point to see off me. It was a memorable stay for me.

We had an amazing stay at this homestay! The food was absolutely delicious and felt just like a warm home-cooked meal. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and prepared with so much care. Very good people, hygenic and decent food, lovely people, especially Nima, works there, he is too sweet and innocent. MUST VISIT. Peaceful place and beautiful property. Pet friendly as well.

"I'm extremely disappointed with my recent stay at Sherpa Villa. The room was dirty, with stains on the carpet and dust covering every surface. The bed was uncomfortable. The staff was unfriendly and unhelpful. When I asked for extra towels, I was told they were 'out of stock.' The breakfast buffet was limited and of poor quality. To top it all off, the hotel's location is very poor vehicle can't go need to carry luggage by own staff won't help not advisable for people above 40 Years and also not as advertised. I would not recommend this homestay to anyone. Rating: - Negative 5"

Words will fall short to describe the beauty of the place and the humbleness of the host. We were awestruck by the first sight of the property. Uncle and aunty were super host. The hotmestay help were extreme courteous. The two pets Lucky and Dexter were also very friendly. It felt like a home away from home. If you need serenity and mental detoxification, then it's a must stay place.
