Say Homes Dechen Villa

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel in Gangtok. Although it is located slightly lower than the main MG Marg area near stadium, the view from the hotel is absolutely stunning and makes up for the distance. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the service provided by the staff was excellent. Overall, it's a great place to stay if you're looking for a peaceful environment with beautiful views.

Excellent stay, good food and well behaved staff. Brojo was very polite and hostile. Mg marg is about 5-7 mins in local taxi

Had an wonderful overall experience. The scenic view from the hotel is breathtaking. The dining area and the balcony has an awesome view to enjoy while having breakfast or dinner. The food is awesome and not to forget the staffs and the manager's behaviour is worthy to mention.

Hotel service is very very very poor. After booking that hotel they mislead with us. Even they don't response our needs. The water heater doesn't work, there is no generator service at that hotel. At the time of spending good quality of time at the corridor they comes to distrub with us, specially the lady who is their staff. Even that lady repeatedly ordered us. Finally, so embracing behavior and poor service. I would like to tell all the people to avoid this hotel. There are so many hotels there. So, choose wisely.

We booked 3 there rooms.. Among them two rooms were great..but the 3rd one situated at ground floor was very bad.. Hospitality was great..Food was outstanding..Potol alur rosa and Upma

It was indeed an awesome stay at this place. Its around a 15 minute walk from MG Marg but the view from the rooms was superb. Really liked the food that was served and the staff was also courteous and helpful. I will definitely recommend this particularly due to the views, rooms, staffs and of course the owner.

Mostly a good place to stay. Might leave you a small dent in your pocket if you are on budget trip. But can be assured the place is awesome with taxi service just beside the villa. The inhouse cook is also great, try out the noodles if possible and aloo dum. The owners stay in the villa and they are extremely friendly. Do drop by them for some quick chat and if you have any request or query regarding Gangtok Overall it was a nice stay, the service can be upgraded - room service but no complaints overall. Suitable for family, friends even with elderly. I personally went with my elderly parents who are all senior citizens. Don't forget to check the view from the common balcony post evening, it's surreal even without liquor.
