NORBULING RETREAT

The hotel service is very bad. Only two staff members do everything from cooking to room service. They feel like they have to take the load down and up from the fourth floor themselves due to lack of staff. The hotel and the rooms are very nice. The owner is very nice but he is not there. I contacted him by phone. Location: Two kilometers from MG Marg. Share taxi available for MG Market. The food is also very bad. Food is not cooked according to the package. We stayed for two days but afternoon snacks were not served even once.

They provide good hospitality to the tourists, rooms are descent and clean with good room service. Everything was good but the location of the hotel was little far from MG road around 2 km which is not at all in walking distance in hilly area....they charged us 2000/- per day for the room but in the same price you will get hotel near mg road with complementary breakfast... We have done the booking for the north Sikkim and north Sikkim was closed... while booking they said it is opened .... hotel management has kept us in dark that north Sikkim is open but it was not so. Whole of the trip got ruined because of trip planer. In my POV- if you are planning for Sikkim than first go to Gangtok take a hotel near mg road and there you talk to tour planner...

This is more homely than home. Wonderful service, wonderful people, very calm and clean. Highly recommended.

I recently stayed at the Norbuling retreat Hotel and was thoroughly impressed. The service was exceptional, with staff going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. Their services and hospitality will really give you the family like vibes. Very friendly behaviour and the taste of their foods are really nice. Though it is at 10 to 15 minutes distant from M.G marg but if you prefer a peaceful place with great hospitality then it is highly recommended.
