Muscatel Dzeemkhang - 400 Mts from MG Marg

We stayed here for 1 night, Rooms were good. We did not eat food here as there were many good options around Gangtok. Staff was nice. Geezer facility available 24x7

The hotel is not overpriced which is the most vital point. The bathroom is clean, rooms are large enough and cosy. Staffs are good tempered and eager to help guests. Only drawback is that they do not have in house restaurant and bring food from their chain hotel Muscatel silk route (300 meter away). So, little time is needed for food delivery. Bathrooms could have been either a little larger in size or the commode should have been better placed at one end.

Got details of this hotel from a friend, visited there and it was perhaps one of the best hotel i have stayed, the rooms were spotless clean, came with water bottles, kettle, coffee,tea bags, towel, geyser and working Tv, great view affordable price very helpful staff at reception overall a great stay. only thing i would mention is its little far from MG road , if you are fit then its not at all problem but if your goal is to find a room right on MG Road then you might re consider.

Rooms were clean but the service was poor, there is no in house kitchen, had to depend on swiggy zomato, also the wifi was poor, room service was late and had to update them again and again to get water even. They pushed us to checkout early as well. The breakfast was also not provided adequately. They sent us whatever they have, despite instructions.All over not happy with the experience

Have to walk a lot to reach , poor service , ordered chiken soup and got veg option and had to pay for the chiken one . No electricity at night . Food took 1.5 hours to be delivered in the room. Not. A great option

The family room was like a dungeon lower than the road height and was stinking during the entire stay (inspite of room freshner). There is no restaurant or kitchen inhouse so ordering foods right away not possible. There are few restaurants nearby but climbing the road is toughest. Alternative is Swiggy/ Zomato. We stayed for one day transit to pelling from Lachung, our complete stay was not here in Gangtok (lucky us).

I loved this place. Good service, beautiful luxurious rooms and friendly staff.
