La Bougainvillea Garden Retreat

We recently had a family event here, and it was truly a wonderful experience. The place is extremely comfortable and easy to access, making it ideal for gatherings. The food was absolutely delicious and catered perfectly to all age groups. What stood out the most was the warm hospitality -- the staff and owners made us feel right at home. Their personal attention and care added a special touch to our celebration. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a welcoming venue with great food and service!

This place is absolutely the best. Best views, best hospitality, best food, best ambience, best everything. They have the best staff who are very polite and attentive. There's a large garden area and a swimming pool. Neat and clean rooms. Calm and quiet atmosphere around with the soothing noise of the stream flowing just across the property. Must visit if you're planning a visit to Gangtok. I'll come back again for sure.

Excellent place to stay with awesome ressort experience. 10 km away from Gangtok city and that's the beauty to stay with nature...birds cripping...animals sound...and more imp...natural stream in backyard which makes the trip complete. Such a lovely calm n quiet place to spend vacation. My 5 year old kid really enjoyed all amenities a lot....specially the beautiful swimming pool. We would love to come back again if we make next trip to Gangtok.

The best place for rest and recreation; so close to Gangtok yet so far away! Ample private spaces in the tastefully landscaped gardens to lose yourself...

Ambiance: 10/10 Taste: 9/10 Service: 7/10 Value for money: 9/10 They have a nice swimming pool, riverside area, green area for a walk, traditional textures, rooftop restaurant, and rooms to stay. Well maintained property. Much recommended place.

During my recent stay in May, rooms are good however there is no quick service due to less staffs.Food service also badly impacted due to less staffs.We have ordered food at 9pm and after shouting they finally served the food at 11.15pm.

Very beautiful place in the middle of nature. The owner is very kind . Overall the experience is very good.

This homestay exceeded our expectations all around. We came we on referral and it was worth it. The compound is lush garden next to the river. Rooms are bright and clean. The host, Sulabh, went out of his way to make us comfortable. The staff was polite and attentive. Food Excellent. I also found to affordable.
