KUNDEN VILLAGE RESORT AND SPA

We stayed here for 2 days ,we had a very warm welcome and we loved it a lot .The hotel rooms were neat however they didn't have any good view rooms ,we got their generator view room .The location of the hotel is too much interior in comparison with gangtok city where you don't get proper access to any vehicle . However we had a very bad experience in aspect of restaurant.The staff will behave over sweet to retain you in the restaurant to shun you to go outside for food .We had dinner for 2 days and the food was pretty expensive and the service was too much delayed. Taste was ok ok not worth as per the price . The worst part of our stay was the complementary breakfast which they offer you , please avoid complementary breakfast from this hotel they give you limited portions and when you demand for more they tell it is chargeable in a rude manner whereas they take the charges for complementary breakfast along with booking .They behave as if they give you food for free .Some of our members didn't have breakfast also due to this behaviour. You can choose this hotel for stay however please avoid their restaurant .

The rooms are very clean and spacious Great hospitality Polite staff especially Cristina and Chef Candle light dinner was awesome Cab facility available Overall it was a wonderful experience for us We will visit soon

This hotel is fine. We actually loved the location, its a bit outside of the city, if you love hiking its the perfect spot. You can walk to the Ridge Park in 20 minutes via a beautiful shortcut of stairs through the village. Its such a fun walk! If you prefer being inside of the city, this hotel isnt the best pick. The rooms are spacious and clean, towels were provided. Great shower. The bedsheets were quite old, I think the hotel should invest in some new ones for a better experience. Furthermore the crew of the hotel were very kind, working very hard, but also trying a bit too hard to make us feel at home, which created an opposite experience. We were the only foreigners in a while I think, so they were really trying to make us extra happy but it gave us all the ick. We like to be treated equally, we don't need anything extra. The restaurant was a bit weird. The food was very expensive and we had to order a la carte hours in advance to make sure we could get the food we preferred. The food was very delicious, just very overpriced. Especially the breakfast. It's a very peaceful and quiet place. We enjoyed ourselves. Its definitely worth it staying here. With a few tweaks this hotel could be even better!

The experience was really very bad, here. There is no source of transport to reach the market in fact u hav to walk around 2km nd after that u'll find any cab or taxi and walking 2km is also not so easy coz the pathways are not so straight it's more or less alike u r climbing a mountain. Even the foods are way too expensive nd not worth the hype:(

Really loved this place, don't think twice before booking this. Good spacious and clean rooms. The staff is very friendly and food is good. I travelled with my family, Bonefire and music in evening really made my day.

Horrible experience also at a bad location Do not go in this resort food r also charging very High price also the Manager depak has an ego and the compensation they give is bonefire after doing things they say they will provide bonfire worth less hotel.... Do not go here

It's 4 km away from Mg marg. And if you want to visit market then you have to walk 2 km from the resort and it's letrelly very hard to walk over there. It's located down the hill from market

Our stay at Kundenvillage Resort in Gangtok was truly exceptional. The hotel rooms were spacious, clean, and felt like living in a luxurious home. The food was delightful, with flavors reminiscent of home-cooked meals. Throughout our stay, we did not encounter a single issue, which speaks volumes about their excellent service.
