Jain Group Hotel Tamarind

The hotel ambiance and service is incredible. Mr.Jeewan ji guided us a lot to reach the hotel location from Siliguri. We have received a warm welcome and he made our stay to feel at home. Moreover the room was clean and comfortable, and the amenities were top-notch. The location was also perfect for exploring Mangan and other areas of Sikkim. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay.

Stayed at this property for 5 days and the stay tbh have been phenomenally good, totally impressed with the staff behaviour and hospitality. The staff here is very professional and take extra efforts to make guests comfortable and the cherry on top has been the prices and parking space.

We had an excellent stay at Jain tamarind. We had a look at the hotel on our way to Lachung from the main road. We were disappointed to see such a small place. However what looks like a small place is a superb place that opens from the DAC office on the other side of the main road. The manager at the hotel was very pro active and has provided us tasty pure vegetarian food. This hotel is a good value for money and gives you a very comfortable stay.

I have stayed here in Tamarind Mangan a few times now as a strategic stopover for my expeditions and treks. The location of the hotel is very helpful to address logistics. The rooms are spacious. Sleep quality is good. They have a reasonably good Wi-Fi service. Mr. Jeevan makes sure that his guests get what they need. I will stay here again.

Room was good. The food was not good at all, and the receptionist said that we had to order any dish in twos before he would make it for us, even if it was on the menu. It was just okay, and I might not go back.

I have been staying in this hotel for over the last 10 years now. It has served the purpose of a strategic location for launching all my expeditions into the Rukel chu and its tributaries and the mountains above. The maintenance of the rooms and its amenities have declined over the years, sadly. But the staff remains helpful and Mr. Jeevan always makes sure that we get what we need.

Outstanding service by Mr. Jivan Rai, Manager @ Tamarind, Mangan. Extremely pro-active, caring and always willing to help his guests. Hotel ambience is good, rooms are very good, food is also excellent and car parking is available as well. Highly recommended.

We stayed here for one night and it was quite good. Staff are cooperative and food was tasty. However, some aspect like bathroom amenities, bed can be improved. The hotel is located near to market and easily accessible. You should always have umbrella in mangan to avoid getting wet.
