The rooms and halls are well maintained. You get hot water easily and there's complimentary tea/coffee as well. The only problem is the location. It shows 2-4 mins from M.G.Marg but the whole way is through stairs. There are lots of stairs. You need to go down from their basement to reach M.G.Marg. So, while coming back you need to climb back all the stairs. Hence if you are having elderly or disabled people with you, it might be a problem. Cabs are pricey as it's a one-way route. They charge Rs 200 for a 5 minutes drive.

Pros: 1.Good location. Very close to the MG market. But if you have older people travelling, they might face difficulty as you have to avail stairs to get up and down the MG market from the hotel. 2.Clean room and quite spacious. 3. Clean bathroom with a working geyser. 4. You get complementary tea and coffee . Cons: 1. We faced power outages a lot therefore it was very difficult to charge our electronic devices 2. If there is an outage you wont be able to use the geyser or the kettle for heating your drinking water or for making tea. 3. The restaurant provides only veg food without onion/garlic. 4. The wifi signal is weak and doesn't work half the time.

The hotel is very great in terms of rooms and services. The MG road is very close from there, like a 5 minutes walk. Its in front of the power department where NO parking space is available. Fortunately, they arrange the parking at other hotels nearby.

Very good loaction walkable distance from MG Road, restaurant offers delicious food. Views from rooms are very good. Hotel needs to work on Royal rooms as windows are not airtight hence air can easily enter the room which makes room very chilly during winters. Overall very good expereince staying in this hotel. Chef and helping staff is upto mark.

Hotel's location is the only thing good about it. Its walking distance from MG Marg. However there's no room service and the WIFI is available in the lobby space only. They won't do anything to make it available inside the rooms. The man in the reception was rude and arrogant. The room was ok. Not recommended.

As the name of the hotel suggests, the hotel has a royal ambiance. We had booked a family room. The room was spacious with mountain view. In fact, it was a suite room and the room rent was quite reasonable. I got to know that the Jain group runs a number of hotels in Gangtok itself, besides other hotels in other parts of Sikkim. I shall strongly the name of Jain group of hotels for tour in Sikkim.

Nice, spacious and clean rooms. The hotel is just 5 mins walk from MG marg.

Great Property!!! Very good property and remarkably nearer to MG MARG. Just 100 meters walk to Mg marg from hotel that too through stairs.
