The Rooms are just awesome. Food is good. The best things of this hotel are the Balcony and the water cooler installed in all the rooms. Here they won't supply you a complent 1 litre mineral water bottle but a water cooler which will supply you Hot, cold and normal water and you need not to pay any extra if your water consumption is more. All the rooms are well furnished with a double bed, two bedside tables, a TV unit, a luggage rack, a wardrobe, a sofa lounge with coffee table and a Dressing table. They have a buffet breakfast service available, they will serve you on table as well as in your room also. We stayed here for two days and in two different rooms. Both the rooms were very nice and with nice view. Breakfast menu: Idly sambhar (needless to mention that the most soft and fluffy idly I ever had). Veg Noodles with Ketchup. Poha. (Toast) Bread with Jam/Butter. Puri and aloo sabzi. Fresh fruits. Juice. Coffee. Tea. Spacious rooms with view of the Sikkim football ground. They have their parking space as well. Kettle, glass bottle, Thermos and Tea Kit available.

When Nature Ruins Plans, Humanity Shouldn't Fail Too - But It Did Here||||We booked this hotel months in advance for our much-awaited Gangtok trip starting 26th April. Unfortunately, due to sudden Sikkim landslides and heavy rainfall, we had to cancel at the very last minute for safety reasons.||We knew the booking was non-refundable within 24 hours -- and yet, we still hoped for basic humanity.||My wife and I called the hotel owner multiple times on 25th April, explaining the situation -- not demanding, but requesting some compassion, maybe even a partial refund. After all, it wasn't a "change of mind"; it was a natural calamity.||Initially, the owner said they were offering 100% refund cancellations if informed 24 hours prior. But emergencies, especially nature's fury, don't come with a schedule!||After several calls, the owner verbally agreed to "help" us. We waited in hope.||And after three long days, on 28th April, we got a cold email: "Refund not possible."||My Questions to the Hotel Owner:||||||If you were traveling with your family and a landslide hit -- would you risk your lives or cancel the trip?||||||If you cancelled, wouldn't you hope, just even 1%, that the hotel or tour agency would understand and help?||||||We are heartbroken.||Both by the lost trip and by the sheer lack of humanity shown by the hotel team.||I sincerely hope the amount we paid adds something to your business. Because it definitely cost us not just money -- but a memory we were looking forward to for months.

Good location, just 1.5km fromMG market and west in mall, king size bed plus extra bed provided, very old construction, room heater provided, water kettle, water, tea sachet, milk powder, sugar but no coffee powder, dental kit not provided, sofa set for sitting, before 8am and after 8pm hardly room service person answer the call. Restaurant food is very expensive. I have paid rs. 14000 for 3nights. Which is not worth.

This is a heritage hotel dating from the time when Sikkim was a independent country(before !975 when they joined India) and was called Himalayan heights. IT was taken over by the Jewel group. The location overloks the PAljor FGootball stadium so you can see the Sikkim football players practicing i nthe morning. ||However there is no lift as it is under modification.. The breakfast was good. The heater also worked.

Do NOT recommend. First time we stayed here was years ago when the owner was different and we had a blast so decided to stay here again. But this time the stay was not great. The staff were nice and courteous but the food was simply horrible. They refused to make a lot of items because there were other guests for them to attend to. We didn't create a fuss and went hungry most of the time as even the items that were made were simply abysmal. We rented a taxi from them as well and the driver was nice but he took 500 from us to give it to the police and said that he will ask the owner to deduct from the final amount but never did it. We were anyway going to tip him that so the amount was not the issue but neither he nor the hotel owner, who is simply ignoring our calls and messages, had any intention of returning the money. When asked to deduct the amount from hotel bill, they refused. So, we thought that will be the tip so forget it but the driver asked for more money at the end and we already paid so much being students. Again, the amount was not the issue but the intention behind it.

The beauty of this property is that the owner of this hotel Mr Ritesh Ji personally taking care of us. He is very nice and managing well. Chef Bikas makes food very tasty & delicious. All staffs are very good and cooperative. The biggest advantage of this hotel is .... You can see Kanchenjunga Mountain from the balcony view. My staying was awesome.

Extremely beautiful Royal heritage Hotel. Very beautiful rooms including mesmerizing views from hotel balcony. No doubt the property is damn good. But the most important thing is their services, it's not up to the mark. Food is extremely baad & some how costly also. Steam rice taste was extremely baad i dont know what kind of rice it is but truly waste of money. In night there was power cut but I don't know they didn't even on their power back up or didn't have any. Breakfast is very less variety of food. As a bengali I always want puri sabzi, even it is very common in most of the places but there is Nothing like that. So I would request you all please arrange a proper manager & cook for your property don't ruin your hotel like this . & also professional people in front office. Otherwise staying hotel was comfortable. Location is good.
