Golden Crescent Resort & Spa, Gangtok

Extremely disappointing experience. This hotel is far from what it claims to be. The receptionist was extremely rude and completely indifferent to guest concerns. Without any prior notice, they changed my room at the last minute. The dining experience was even worse -- staff would constantly watch guests while they ate, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere. They were overly strict and unwelcoming, even policing basic food choices. For example, if you took a boiled egg, you were reminded not to ask for an omelet -- as if you were eating for free, not a paying customer. Honestly, a community kitchen would have offered better hospitality. Don't be fooled by misleading and paid positive reviews. Save your money and look elsewhere.

Our stay at Golden Crescent Resort during our Gangtok tour was truly delightful. The hospitality was exceptional, with staff always ready to assist with a warm smile. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-maintained, offering a cozy retreat after a day of sightseeing. The breathtaking view from the resort added to the overall charm. The food was delicious, with a variety of options to satisfy every palate. From check-in to check-out, everything was smooth and hassle-free. A perfect place for a comfortable and memorable stay in Gangtok. Highly recommended!

We stayed for 3 days, service was good, and the staff was helpful. Food is good. The property is clean. The first 2 days they gave a normal room which was well maintained. They gave an extra bed also for kids. Last day we stayed in a premium room, where the size and all was good but the room needed some(only one or two things) more maintenance.

Room was luxurious, well maintained, and clean . Also the view from the room was magnificent. Food was delicious. The cab and the drivers organised by the hotel itself were very friendly and helpful. The staff specially Serena , were incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. The amenities, food, view were excellent. I highly recommend golden crescent resort and spa to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation, I will definitely be returning!

Amazing hotel... Staff is super friendly and fun... Great location for the property... Parking for two and four wheeler is available... Food offered at the hotel is buffet and it's delicious.... I managed to click some pictures before I ended up eating it...

We10 people group stays 3 days in this golden cresent hotel Rooms are near and clean including hospitality tray , hair dryer, toiletries, sleeper Breakfast and Dinner: great variety, Good taste, good kitchen service staff they are helpful too Supportive staff are cooperative in laggage transfer Over all 4.7/5 stars from us Location is slightly remote from main market We recommend for stay

From vehicle they took our bags and delivered them to room . They are kind helpful and I had a problem with the tv they fixed it immediately.in dining area the hand washing clothes were decoration and in rooms the tovela were in shape of flowers the bathroom were also great

Room service excellent, staffs are very much attentive, Hygenic food like Breakfast & Dinner. Hotel is located at on the high hill and with the panorama views. Above all Excellent review.
