Amritara Hidden Land, Gangtok

I recently stayed at Amritara Hidden Land, and I had a very pleasant experience overall. The room was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully arranged with all the essential amenities. The bed was especially comfortable, and housekeeping did a great job keeping the room tidy throughout my stay. It was a quiet, peaceful environment--perfect for rest and relaxation.||The food experience was equally impressive. Whether it was the breakfast buffet or a la carte meals, everything was fresh, flavorful, and nicely presented. We had dinner at Amritara on a stormy, rain-soaked night when the entire neighborhood was plunged into darkness due to a prolonged power outage. Amidst the blackout, Amritara stood out--beautifully lit and bustling with diners seeking refuge and warmth. Though we weren't staying at the hotel, the staff welcomed us with genuine warmth and exceptional hospitality. The service was prompt, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The food was outstanding--the chicken dishes and parathas were incredibly flavorful and simply melted in our mouths. The ambiance was equally impressive. The decor is thoughtfully done, creating a cozy and inviting space, and the cafe features a charming book section that adds to its unique character. Highly recommend Amritara for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience, whether you're a guest or just dropping in for a meal.

I travelled to Gangtok for the first time last week. As a new traveler in that region, I was completely skeptical about the quality of hotels. I booked Amritara Hidden Land after researching on the internet. I was pleasantly surprised and had a great experience due to the following reasons: -||1. Convenient location: The hotel is located a few steps away from the District Court. MG Marg (primary market in the region) is about 10-12-minute drive from the hotel. Shared taxis are available right outside the District Court.|2. Courteous staff: This was probably the highlight of the trip. All the staff members including the property manager, front desk executives and the servers were extremely polite and took good care of us. Calling out a few names out of memory - Mr. Prakash Panwar (Operations Manager), Rahul, Rupesh Rawat, Sunil and Rajan Rai. Apologies for missing out other names, but a common thanks to all staff working at the hotel.|3. Quality of rooms: We booked the Tara rooms which had a beautiful valley view from the balcony. The rooms were spacious and clean and we could easily fit in an extra mattress.|4. Great food: The quality portion sizes were good. We ended up dining at the hotel almost every day. As a vegetarian, I would recommend the Dal Fry and veg momos.||Overall, I would recommend this hotel if you are looking for a nice and peaceful stay with your family. Once again, thanks to the entire hotel staff members for their hospitality.

I recently stayed at this Hotel with family, and I was very impressed. The rooms were spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and a great view. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Food here was also excellent, with a wide variety of options to choose from local food to continental. Overall Hotel ambience is lovely with the traditional touch and if you're a book lover, you can find lots and lots of books everywhere. I overall had a very positive experience and would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Gangtok.

We stayed at Amritara in our recent trip to Gangtok.Its a lovely hotel and our room Tara had an amazing magnificent , serene and beautiful view of the Valley. The staff is courteous amd room service is super quick. Amenities are amazing and location is perfect too. The cookies were awesome and a delight to eat . Complimentary coffee and tea were dissapointing.

Wow what a great boutique hotel in Gangtok!! It is a small hotel but offers almost all the in room amenities. Though small, their interior and design is fabulous and resonates to local culture. Their food is amazing, they cook everything fresh. Staff is very courteous. We experience great service. We had to checkout at 4:30 am so they packed sandwiches for us. 5 stars for: 1. Staff & service 2. Food quality 3. Interior & rooms 4. Cleanliness 5. Location of the hotel

The place ,service and food all justifies the name. Amri-Tara(Star) on the hidden land. I travelled here with my whole family. Place is very nice kid friendly, elderly friendly. Food is too tasty you just don't want to stop while eating. Service Staff is so friendly too. They ACTUALLY wants to help you instead of just pretending. All in all I had a great time staying here during our stay.

We stayed in Amritara Hidden Land, Gangtok for 3 nights with family. The rooms are very spacious, clean and comfortable. Great location within the city, easy to find local cabs for moving around and close to the markets. Staffs are very professional and friendly. Highlight is the restaurant, delicious food and impeccable service. Opt for a room with balcony for stunning views. Truly memorable stay!
