Taj Lake Palace, Udaipur

We cannot thank all the staff at the Lake Palace enough for taking such good care of us, and for making our stay so special. It is an incredible hotel, with a fascinating history. Our suite was magnificent, and the public areas are all beautiful. We also enjoyed many excellent meals in the different restaurants. Thank you!

I had a truly memorable experience at Taj Palace in Udaipur. It was a solo trip. The ambiance is a perfect blend of calmness and traditional Indian heritage. The gentle fragrance in the air adds a soothing touch to the serene surroundings, making it an ideal place to relax and connect with the rich culture of Rajasthan. A wonderful destination for anyone seeking peace and authenticity in the heart of royal India.

The hotel is a beautiful historic place and the rooms are very comfortable and luxurious. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the food at breakfast was delicious with a lot of different options of Western and Indian food. We really enjoyed the boat ride in and out of the hotel too.

We had a memorable time at the Taj Lake Palace Udaipur, We were welcomed in the most Royal manner on our arrival .||To our Surprise we were upgraded to the Suite room , 'Jag Mandir Darshan' which had sepia tinted views of the Lake Pichola and surroundings. ||I want to particularly mention Mr Naman Sharma, who took a lot of effort to make our stay comfortable , actually his hospitable nature made our day!||Mr Sunil Raj from the J wellness organised a relaxing spa Session. ||Most special was our Exclusive dinner at the Mewar terrace where Alona took good care of us while having an engaging conversation.||We left with lasting memories and cant wait to be back soon!

An amazing stay. The most wonderful, polished staff welcomed us and made us comfortable. A beautiful suite looking out over the water. Romantic boat rides. Great breakfast - the best I've had in India. Some of the best cocktails we've had in 2.5 weeks in India and Nepal. The spa treatment was good too. This property deserves the distinction of being Taj's flagship hotel and among the very best in India. Superb attention to detail across the board. -1 for somewhat inconsistent service by the pool (but admittedly, it was very hot) - in relation to the level of hotel. No big deal.

This floating marble marvel is straight out of a royal fantasy--impeccable Rajasthani architecture, and views that steal your breath away.||But what truly set this stay apart was the hospitality. A heartfelt thank you to Honey and Dikhsha, whose warmth and personal care made our visit unforgettable. The most iconic stay in Udaipur indeed.

When i visited the property then i understood why it is called what it is called. Simply Wah taj! The experience was surreal and something which only taj can provide you. The service, the grandeur, the exoticness... everything was so exceptional.
