I recently stayed at this hotel, and while my experience was decent, it wasn't exceptional. First, the check-in process was not smooth. Despite booking online with the understanding that check-in was available 24 hours, I had to wait for three hours upon arrival. Additionally, the breakfast charges were listed as 250 online, but I was charged 350 for each breakfast, which was misleading. On a positive note, the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, the view was amazing, and the amenities, though basic, were functional. The bed was comfortable enough for a good night's sleep. However, there were a few issues. The Wi-Fi was spotty throughout my stay, and while the location was beautiful, it could get quite noisy at times due to the surrounding area. When I checked out the next day, I couldn't find my room key, which had originally been left on the front table. The staff were not very understanding, and I was charged for a new lock and key, which was disappointing. Overall, the hotel is fine for a short stay, but a few inconveniences impacted my experience.

The hotel room was fantastic, and the staff were excellent. The food was delicious, and everyone was kind and welcoming. The atmosphere was calm and peaceful. We really enjoyed the view of Lake Pichola from our room. The food was great, and the service staff were very helpful. Many places were close to the hotel, and transport was easy to find. We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend others to stay at this hotel.
Hotel Sarovar on Lake Pichola's location is one of the best however there are better options around if you plan in advance. Our mistake was that we thought it's a part of the Sarovar Hotels group which it is not, however the mistake was completely ours since they neither advertised nor mentioned that anywhere. ||We had booked a non-lake facing deluxe AC room which was pretty basic especially for the price we were paying but had all amenities. They have a nice lake facing restaurant on their terrace, but their F&B is nothing great just about ok, I would say slightly on the higher side compared to the quality. ||Other than that, there check in was pretty efficient and service was decent.
This is an excellent mid-budget hotel. The location is fantastic. If you get a lake-facing room, the views will turn into the highlight of the trip. It's close to all important locations. The rooms are clean and sized just right. All services were attended to promptly. The breakfast is basic but good and sustains you until midday. Do try to have lunch and breakfast here. It was better than what we had at Ambrai or other popular restaurants. The rooftop view is also great!||This isn't for this hotel per se, but if you are looking for quiet and solitude, stay away from any lakeside hotel. All hotels have live and loud music playing together from around 7 30 pm to 10 30 pm--all at once. It can be very disturbing.
I stayed here 5 years ago and had an amazing experience. The staff was extremely helpful, making the stay even more pleasant. The highlight was the stunning terrace view, offering a breathtaking sight of Lake Pichola. A perfect place to relax and soak in Udaipur's beauty!
We had a fantastic stay, thanks to Naresh's & Avantika exceptional service. He was attentive, professional, and went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable experience. The hotel was well-maintained, and every detail was taken care of with great care. Highly recommend!
Must book this hotel! Rooms are excellent, we booked the lake view rooms. Stay includes breakfast which had multiple items to choose from. Took one star off due to the gutter smell in the bathroom when we checked in. We told the front desk when we were leaving for the sightseeing of the city, and the staff took care of the smell during the room service time. Front desk staff is great, there is always somebody sitting even at late night. So if you need something just ask at the front desk they will get you the item(s) within minutes. There is a restaurant at the roof, which works independently then the hotel it self.
Average. Its basic, gets the job done, nothing boutique or luxury about it. Rooms are ok, not all amenities like dental, shaving kit given, have to ask for it.staff is average/ok w.r.t their cooperative nature.location is a big pro, walkable from all markets, sightseeing spots etc. take this hotel only if u get a good deal on price.
