A Home Away from Home - Unmatched Hospitality in Udaipur! Our recent stay at this beautiful homestay in Udaipur was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, the property owners and their family welcomed us with such warmth and generosity that we never once felt like guests--we felt like family. Traveling with my wife and our 18-month-old daughter, we were naturally looking for a comfortable and safe place, and this homestay exceeded all our expectations. The hosts were incredibly courteous, respectful, and genuinely caring. Their attention to detail, their guidance, and the way they ensured our comfort truly left us speechless. One of the highlights of our stay was the food. Every meal was a delight--authentic Rajasthani cuisine, mouthwatering parathas, and the most flavorful chutneys I've ever had! I even requested the host to teach me how to make them because they were simply unforgettable. Without a doubt, we found the best food in Udaipur right at our homestay. Beyond the exceptional hospitality and food, the property itself is a gem. Located in the heart of the city, it offers stunning views of Lake Pichola from every room. The hosts went out of their way to assist us with everything, from local recommendations to arranging a scooter for us to explore the city. We are still reminiscing about the warmth and care we received, and without a doubt, this homestay will be our first choice every time we visit Udaipur. It has given us yet another reason to fall in love with Rajasthan. We booked this place solely for the lake view and we were not disappointed. The rooms were clean and neat. Not very spacious but can fit just right for 2 people. It gets very cold at night during winters as it's very close to the lake, so make sure you're layered up well. The property is in the heart of the city which surprised us for the price we paid. Very aesthetic spot and the lake view is just bliss.

i) Our stay was made very comfortable by the owner. He treated us as his own family members. ii) The location is very good, near Chandpole. where everything is nearby. iii) The beauty of the room is balcony, from where one can enjoy the lake. iv) The owner is very helpful in every aspect. By mistake we forgot some items in the room and checked out for Chittorgarh. Next day when I talked to him about this, without giving second thought he assured me that he would courier the items. And finally, the items reached to my residence before I expect it. Such a nice person he is. I have plan to stay again in my next trip.

A 3 storey house in the middle of a busy area, very close to Chandpole parking . Easily accessible by walk, to Ambrai ghat and other popular joints on this road. Rooms were big, well ventilated. But sheets and blankets were not well maintained. Suggest vacuuming and dry cleaning linens especially during peak seasons. Hot water was available, power cuts are frequent, so plan ahead!

The hotel is at a very prime location with beautiful lake side view. Very convenient for sightseeing in nearby city as all spots are very close at a walkable distance. Amazing, homely service and hospitality given by the owner. Great, spacious and clean rooms with amazing view. Highly recommended.

Devi villa is the best best and best to stay in when you are in udaipur, be it's property, location, hospitality, it's 10/10. Apart from this the host of the property be it bhaiya or Aunty they are soo cute that it's true to their tag line "your home". When ever I'll be in Udaipur again their is no other property I am staying at.

Devi Villa is the best place to stay and it feels homely. The owner and his wife both are very kind and sweet.

We checked various websites online and were searching for a homestay. After speaking with the owner of Devi Villa, we finalized it. The main reason was the information provided by the owner. We selected it based on the photos and the conversation. For us, being close to a prime location was important, and Devi Villa is in a prime location, just near Chandpole, right before the Amrai Ghat bridge starts.||We stayed for 3 nights and 4 days. Initially, we liked our room; it was clean, with fresh bedsheets, a clean cupboard, and a bathroom. The view from the gallery was also fantastic. We hadn't eaten much on the train, so we were quite hungry. Aunty (the owner's wife) made us hot parathas to eat. We were so impressed by the taste that we decided to have breakfast at home every day. When we asked her where to find dal bati, she said she would make it today and asked if we would like to have it. We immediately said yes. After returning from our outing, we had dal bati... oh, what a taste! From then on, we had dinner and breakfast there for all 4 days. Where else can you get such authentic Rajasthani food as in a Rajasthani home? And it was homemade, with a clean kitchen, hygienic, and fresh. I have no regrets that we didn't go to a lakeside restaurant for dinner even once; the food was that tasty.||Aunty and Uncle are such friendly people that we didn't even realize how 4 days passed just talking to them, and we got attached. This was the first homestay where we felt sad at night thinking about leaving. Uncle, by profession, was a guide for foreigners. We had the unique experience of seeing Kumbhalgarh with him. He is very energetic and sweet. He accompanied us on a one-day trip to Kumbhalgarh, Shreenathji, Eklingaji, and Haldighati. He suggested local spots and guided us, making the spots he suggested feel like heaven. Because of these two, our Udaipur trip became memorable. We will definitely recommend it to our friends and family, and if we return, we will preferably stay here again..
