Gaurav was an exceptional host who truly exceeded our expectations, making this trip an unforgettable experience <3. Initially, we were a bit skeptical after reading so many good reviews about the place but Gaurav proved every word of those reviews to be absolutely true. Our stay was fantastic, and the backyard was the best part where we made some of our best memories of the trip. The safari was definitely a highlight--Gaurav and Rupesh Bhai went above and beyond to spot leopards and gave us the best close-up experience. The food was always on time and delicious, he also extended our one day stay for no extra charge. it was amazing to see him work with so much passion and dedication. Would recommend this place 10/10, choosing this place for stay and meeting such a good and friendly host like Gaurav was the best decision , we left feeling super happy and satisfied :)

Forget about everything this person Gaurav the caretaker is host person, he managed everything so fantastically from managing two wheelers to beverages to food to safari to leopard sight scene to photoshoot this person is total package. have never seen such kind of beautiful hearted pure soul person. place is totally safe,hygiene, reachable

Visited this place last month and was extremely satisfied overall. The host was genuinely helpful and welcoming. He was visibly present to make the entire experience better for us and went beyond his typical scope of work to do extra things like arranging food and beverages whenever needed, smoothly facilitating the safari, arranging ride around the town and being with us for a better exploration, which otherwise would be a hideous task at a place like Jawai. Would definitely recommend 10/10!

We had such a good experience here! Gaurav went above and beyond all of our expectations...his home cooked food is some of the best that we've had in India! He also upgraded us to the private room for no extra charge, made sure we got on the right public bus to our next destination (and made sure we got seats!!), and overall just took such good care of us :) We came here to do the leopard safari and we definitely chose the right guys to do it with! They did everything they could to make sure we got to spot a leopard once the sun went down. We also got a sneaky close up viewing once all the other tourists had left; once in a lifetime experience!! Cannot recommend this place enough, we left feeling super happy and satisfied with our experience <3

Owner Mr. Gaurav was excellent in terms of service and may be the best guide available in Jawai leopard safari so if you really want to see the best leopard Mr. Gaurav from Backpackers Hostel. Ideal place to stay for bag packers and safari enthusiasts. Stayed there with my friend for Jawai leopard safari. Mr. Gaurav, the owner of the property, exceeded all our expectations. The efforts by him and his safari guide in spoting the leopards and placing us at appropriate positions for getting the best shots were really amazing. Thanks to Gaurav and his friend Rupesh that we could get some really amazing shots of leopard and it's cub.

I have been visiting national parks across India & Africa over the last couple of decades. I must admit Gaurav -the owner of Jawai Bagpackers is one of the most dedicated professional I have ever met. His involvement and efforts towards guests and wildlife are simply incredible. His place is clean and simple, totally safe & value for money. But his USP is the Leopard safari. You have to be with him to witness his tremendous efforts and knowledge of local fauna. His driver Rupesh deserves a special mention for his incredible 4*4 driving skills. If u visit jawai and is interested in wildlife. Gaurav is the man...
