Hotel Gungun

Located at Jawai Band road in front of Mahaveer Cinema hall. Rooms are of decent size, all basic facilities are available and in working condition. Properly ventilated rooms. Washrooms were in good working condition. Ventilation was good. TV was not working. A spacious dining hall is available at the first floor to accommodate good gatherings. One of the major concern here is to reach the hotel rooms. To reach the rooms guests need to go through the very congested staircase.

Rooms are very good but kitchen doesn't work, even for mineral water you need to call the waiter,pay him advance and get the mineral water. Same applies for anything you want to eat. The kitchen is not functional post covid. Basically you can't expect a hotel kind of experience, it's like a lodge or dorm kind of experience apart from the quality of rooms. The owner is a very good person to talk to. He's a retired Navy officer.

one of worst experience that they will not inform you that covid test is mandatory for entry and no email or sms notification in advance,once you land at hotel ,they will not allow your entry and asked to search for different hotel.
