Hotel Tiger Haveli

Simple but clean and friendly hotel - the staff make it a special place. They are super helpful. They helped us book safaris and we spotted several tigers! They really go above and beyond! Our tip: don't worry about jeep safaris, canter is just as good and as this hotel is very central you can choose the best seats in the canter. The zone is more importantly- we especially loved zone 3!

Great support in arranging the safari. Nice host which speaks properly English. Food is also fine and the rooms are oke. We had a nice stay. 2 adults and 3. It was hard to get tickets last minute but in then end it worked out............................:............,.,,;,:

The owner and his Son are so nice! They always make sure your having a good time! It's amazing! We loved it so kuch Here! They have good food, the rooms are beautifull and they strange everything for you! The Safari and the train ect ect! It has been such a pleasure to stay Here!

Comfortable, spacious, clean private room. Nice rooftop with restaurant also offering food. Location is very close to the main road where the jeep safari usually do the pick up. The hosts are really nice, and available; they ask 250 rupees to help you get the safari tickets printed out and manage the pick up (a bit expensive but it is necessary as it otherwise a bit complex to manage independently)

Tiger Haveli is a lovely hotel. It has excellent service and they really help you with all your wishes. It is located in nice street just off the main road, so it is not busy at all with cars or tuktuks. Also it is very close to the pick up point for the tiger safari. We really enjoyed the stay. It is really been a wonderful experience!

The hotel is located in a side street a couple of blocks back from Sawhai Madhopur's dusty main street . It's less than 10 mins in an auto rickshaw from the railway station and 5 mins walk to the pick up for our tiger safari. (We booked through the national park but the hotel can also arrange) We were welcomed by the manager who spoke perfect English. He showed us to our first floor room which was a good size, nicely decorated and clean. It had ac, fan and a balcony. The shower had good pressure and hot water. There were two single beds pulled together with firm mattresses. We had breakfast in the rooftop restaurant which I thought was a little kid expensive, but the omelette we had was tasty enough. There was however an occasional gaseous smell on the roof which I suspected was coming from a vent from a septic tank. Another slight criticism is the acoustics in the hotel. The rooms are around a central internal atrium and sound seemed to echo though this could have been due to loud occupants of neighbouring rooms! There was also quite a lot of external night time noise- train horns, temple, livestock- the hotel is amongst residental properties so is to be expected. Budget hotels seem to be mainly along the main road though which is dusty and noisy so we were happy with our choice. I felt 2400r was a little expensive for the room and location by India standards but it's modern, clean and comfortable and the front desk staff are friendly and helpful.

The rooms were very clean and matched the online photos exactly. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The beds were a bit hard for us, but we got used to them after the first night. Very reliable warm water supply (which isn't always guaranteed in India). There's a nice rooftop terrace, which is also where breakfast and other meals are served. As we had some quite chilly days, this sadly meant that taking breakfast out there in the open was not super comfortable. Nearby are also several other restaurants as well as a food court with a great offer of Indian street food. The staff booked two safaris for us, one of them at very short notice; both were reasonably priced, and we were lucky enough to spot a tiger on each of them!

This is a nice hotel for the price range....rooms comfy with 24/7 hot water. Quiet, very helpful staff. Rooftop restaurant is good, better than nearby places. They have beer.
