Camp Sambhar - Camping Resort at Sambhar Salt Lake near Jaipur

I recently visited Sambhar Festival 2025 and stayed at this beautiful resort. The experience was fantastic! The Swiss tents were comfortable, well-maintained, and provided a unique, cozy experience amidst the serene surroundings.||The bonfire evenings were a highlight, creating a perfect atmosphere to relax and enjoy under the starlit sky. The staff was incredibly hospitable and went out of their way to make our stay memorable. The food was delicious, offering a taste of authentic local flavors.||The ambiance and overall vibe of the resort were just perfect for a getaway. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Sambhar Lake. It's truly a hidden gem! Looking forward to visiting again.

The resort is located perfectly, offering a panoramic unrestricted view of the vast Sambhar lake.||Property is well maintained with a huge lawn and a swimming pool. There are three german shepherds - Jack, Jill and Snowy who are playful and don't mind a loving tap or a good scratch. They are well trained and like to keep to themselves though.||The room itself is decent sized and the bed is comfortable. There is a small balcony at the back that opens to the fields, we liked having our evening tea there. Bathroom fixtures could use a minor update.||Food was good and as per our preference.||Staff is courteous and ready to help (special mention to Mukesh). Property owner Neeraj and manager Dipti were kind enough to offer suggestions on places to visit and things to do. They have a telescope for those interested in star gazing or astro-photography. They also organize biking tours across India.||I would definitely consider visiting again.

A great place to go glamping with the flamingos! I went on a guided birdwatching tour with Neeraj which was well worth the extra money. Excellent food. Rooms are Swiss tents so can be a little chilly in winter. But there was plenty of bedding so sleeping was good. Staff was friendly. There are three well-trained German shepherds on site.

One of the few places in Sambhar with good ambience, food and services. Consider isolation of Sambhar region this place is well maintained, is very peaceful and affordable. A good place for a night stay , not too big property neither too small. They have 2 very friendly and cute german shepherds , do not forget to play with them .

If you want to go glamping with the flamingos this is your place to go. Note that rooms can be cold in winter (this is camping!). Neeraj offered an excellent guided tour of the nearby water holes to see wading birds like flamingos and royal spoonbills for an additional fee. Well worth it. Food was excellent, and the staff are friendly. Three well-trained German shepherd are on site, and you can do bird watching from the site.

Truly unique experience for nature enthusiasts. The staff and owner are deeply knowledgeable about the local birds and environment and are actively working to preserve Sambhar's ecosystem, which adds a meaningful touch to the stay. The property itself is beautifully maintained and the food is excellent and The three German Shepherds are a joy--friendly and playful. A perfect destination for a peaceful retreat!

Awesome property, great food, amazing view of sambhar lake, great hospitality. I am delighted to write this review for this resort for a perfect ten experience. I think if you are at sambhar then do plan a stay here. The host has good knowledge of the city and will tell you so many things about the birds, flora and fauna and local history.
