Pangarh lake retreat : is a beautiful lakeside resort decorated with the natural surroundings This property has beautiful lakefront cottages or wood chalets, tents and mud houses which are maintained very well. This place is very peaceful and having most exceptional views from the wood chalet which has private balcony facing directly to lake. ||||Every morning and evening is truly mesmerising from the balcony and try not to miss the sunrise and sunset you will definitely feel magical vibes of nature. The sound of animals coming from the lakeside jungle is so soothing at night. ||||The food was super delicious and I also enjoyed my lunch of pure home made dal-bati-churma in live cooking under a big tree on desi chulha which was extraordinary. ||||The boat ride was also a unique and wonderful experience in Pangarh Lake Retreat in the morning ride you will see the magic of "Mother-Nature" and you'll find gorgeous birds everywhere which will definitely blow your mind. ||||Thank you Mr. Karan Pratap for wonderful hosting and hospitality.||If you are a pure nature lover and looking for a peaceful resort far from the city, It's definitely a must visit resort.||||Thank you

"A Tranquil Paradise by the Lake" I had the pleasure of spending a few days at beautiful Pangarh lake retreat, and it was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed by the stunning views of the crystal-clear water and surrounding nature. The wooden chalet itself was cozy and perfectly equipped with all the amenities we could need for a relaxing stay. The peaceful environment was exactly what I needed to unwind. We enjoyed mornings by the lake, watching the sunrise and listening to the gentle ripples of the water. The property is incredibly well-maintained, with walking trails, a private dock, and plenty of outdoor seating to take in the view. The hosts were incredibly friendly and responsive, providing us with great recommendations for local activities, including bird watching and hiking. Whether you're looking for an active getaway or simply a place to relax, this retreat has it all. I left feeling recharged, rejuvenated, and already planning my next trip back. Highly recommend this lake retreat to anyone looking for a peaceful escape in nature!

One of the best places i have been to. It is like an ocean in the desert. So quiet . So calm. Such friendly staff. Excellent service.|Thank you for all the hospitality. If you are looking for a break from the hustle and bustle of the city, this is the perfect break you can get.

Lovely peaceful natural place. The lake is delightful and teeming with birdlife. Staff gentle and helpful. Good food too. And the tented accommodation is charming. A haven from the hustle and bustle of India. Certainly a highlight of our trip. Remember your binoculars.

A Slice of Heaven If you're looking for a lovely, peaceful retreat in the middle of nature, look no further. Waking up and standing on the balcony, watching the sunrise and the egrets and listening to the bird calls is a wonderful way to start the day that is not to be missed. The staff is first rate and attentive. The food was delcious. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

If you love panoramic views over a lake, you will love Pangarh Lake Resort.|Nestled at the foot of what seems like a steep rock face, we reached the resort.|We were greeted by welcome drinks and shown to our beautiful lakeside cabin built from repurposed and recycled materials.|Our simply but tastefully decorated cabin was spotless with a spacious modern bathroom and outside verandah stretching out over the lake.|Cuisine was amazing, we tried fox nuts for the first time, they are delicious and a super food - the owner/manager learned we enjoyed them and they appeared at every meal time.|Also, do not miss the fresh sweet water fish! And talking about water, the swimming pool is lovely too!|Evening drinks are a real treat, taken outside with spectacular views.|There are super friendly Labrador dogs on the property, they accompany guests on tours to the nearby ruined Pangarh Fort (Lotus Fort) - also don't miss the Sati graveyard.|We left the property relaxed and refreshed - having received the highest quality of guest service.|Don't expect room service - but expect to have a wonderful time away from the business of daily life|Oh, and I nearly forgot - ask to visit the ancient cave paintings - you see one in the attached pics

We stayed overnight in a tent (glamping) which was very comfortable, complete with ensuite and kettle for tea. The two resident dogs are very friendly and enjoy hanging out with you. The staff are friendly and professional and the food was excellent. Namaste

This place is like nowhere we've ever stayed before - quite amazing! Overlooking a water chestnut lake we watched the ladies farming them with the white egrets watching. We glamped in the beautiful tents and had some little frog visitors! We walked up to the old fort with the historic pyres en route to watch the sunset. The pool was great and such a relief! We had an outside bar in the evening. So serene and so far-from-the-madding- crowd. Loved it!!!
