Extraordinary from arrival to departure. Top quality organic food from the garden, fabulous service, gorgeous rooms. The birdwatching boat tour on the lake was a nice activity although if you're a serious twitcher you might be disappointed. We did see osprey, cormorants, egrets etc but mostly from a distance (binoculars provided). Sundowners on the hilltop rounded out a perfect day. A nice break from the frenetic cities.

A tranquil remote place, our accommodation was on a dam overlooking a lake. A luxury tent, it was large, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The service we received was excellent throughout. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner in the restaurant, which specialises in home-grown, home-cooked food. We took a boat trip around the lake, where, helped by the very knowledgeable naturalist, we spotted many bird species.

We had an amazing two days here, relaxing between Jaipur and Johdpur. We were slightly apprehensive given the reviews mentioning lizards and lack of amenities; however, these are completely wrong. This place is magical - no lizards, luxurious amenities and the most delicious food!

This is a 6star property! We broke up a long drive from Jaipur to Jodphur and were so glad for it. The views from the dam was a picture of clam and relaxation. It was perfect after the bustling Jaipur to kick back in the sun and recuperate. They only have 17 rooms or so, each furnished thoughtfully. There is even a bath tub with bath salts provided. All the modern comforts are there as you view nature from your back balcony. Take the tour of the village to understand the local situation. The sundowner was a clear winner. I'd recommend you take a boat tour then watch sunset on the hill. They have an open bar with amazing farm side views. Never a prettier sunset!

Nothing to do but relax and enjoy nature. Situated on the banks of a dam, this multi generational family-owned tent camp is quiet, serene and lovely. In the early evening, animals come to the water's edge to drink. We saw wild boar with babies, antelope, jackals and myriad birds. They provide nature walks and all meals are included. The tents are lovely, well appointed and comfortable. Not a necessary stop, but a good one if you do.

Super Wonderful Staff. Competent. Attentive [they actually listen]. Can't do enough to please guests. Quiet. Relaxing. Peaceful surroundings. The perfect location with the perfect staff for an immersion in nature. Most Highly recommended!!

Great rooms with terraces overlooking the lake, a very nice pool, beautiful gardens and a very good restaurant. Only some chairs in the restaurant were not ideal as they were either too low or too soft which made dinner slightly uncomfortable.
