A very welcoming family. The mother, assisted by their daughter, cooks divinely well. The younger son (I barely met the eldest) is a lively young man, full of aspirations and promise; he speaks perfect English and German. The father takes great care of his guests--attentive, responsive, providing tailored advice, and always kind. And they all greet you with warm, generous smiles.||As for the guesthouse itself, it is a peaceful haven, filled with light, in an otherwise noisy and polluted city, whose havelis make the only cultural and architectural charm. ||To truly enjoy the surrounding countryside, you should venture outside the city--preferably by bike-- and ride to places like Dundlod or Old Parasrampura (as recommended by Rajesh), where you can breathe fresh air and take in the lush wheat fields and the authentic colors of rural India, brought to life by the women in vibrant saris working in the fields.||A peaceful and serene stay, in any case, with this adorable family that welcomes you as one of their own!

A lovely stay at this wonderful guest house Raj and his family are some of the kindest people I have ever met and they will provide you with clean spacious rooms and a bathroom that has really hot water. The food prepared by Raj's wife is delicious and sourced from their organic farm where possible.||Go on a haveli tour with Raj he is a mine of information and a charming companion I also recommend asking him to take to you to the school he supports I found meeting the children and their teachers a really uplifting experience and please take them some notebooks , pencils etc which you can buy locally.||Finally an example of the family's kindness to me. I was out walking in the bazaar when I had a small accident, I began to feel faint and sat down in front of a shop.The owner asked where I was staying and phoned Raj who arrived in 5 mins and took me home. Raj then went to a pharmacy and bought painkillers, ointment and antibiotics when I asked how much I owed him he refused to accept any payment.||Nawalgarh is an unspoilt and interesting destination with few tourists I had a great time there staying with Raj and his family I am already planning to go back.|||||||||.

This place has an amazing energy. The whole family took care of me like their own family member. And they do that with all the guests. If you ever need anything or you get sick, no worries they will help you with everything and make sure you are good before you go. They even send you off to the train/bus station. Thank you Tushar! This is a family stay and it pioneered the tourism in the area. Rajeesh the owner is a great guide who not only is a very knowledgeable guide but also cares very much and works towards the conservation of the havelis in the whole area and tries to support the local community. The wife cooks amazing and very healthy food (not too oily, too sweet or too spicy). and she gives cooking classes as well. They have great coffee and they always gave me little extra. All the guests eat together for breakfast and dinner which contributes to a more familial ambience with the other guests as well. The house is very clean and it is all managed by the family with no extra help. The rooms and the common areas are nicely decorated and they have a great terrace. They also make fire every evening in the winter. For the colder months you can ask for a heater. They also let me leave my luggage for a few days! Thank you to the whole family for the warm welcome and all the care!

The hosts were very polite and hospitable. Lunch was good - as we asked for a specific menu with vegetables. However, we had to ask for heaters for the room, as it was very cold in the month of January and many of us come from parts of India where we are unfamiliar with extreme weather.. There were inadequate plug points to charge phones or laptops; there were no hooks in the bathroom to even hang a towel; no toiletries (thank god we carried some), our luggage was carried up 2 floors by our own drivers, no kettles or tea/ coffee sachets. The ladies of the house do all the cooking with no extra hand, which I thought was too much for them. We had to shorten our stay by a day to proceed to the next destination (Mandawa Kothi) which was a relief.

"Its a home far from home" One of the best homestay expierience I have ever had. If I could I would give them 5+ star for their hospitality. The family is so kind and humble the place made me feel like home. Its a best recommendation for the tourist who are in search of authentic knowledge about places less explored in Rajasthan,India.

We enjoyed our stay in Tourist Pension. We had a lovely and spacious room. The room was equipped with a brand new electric heater which was very much appreciated in the cold of winter in Nawalgarh. Delicious home made good.|Thank you for your hospitality.

If I could, I would give them 6 out of 5 stars because of how they treated us with 5 star hospitality. They treated us with good homely food and like we were part of there own family. This might not be a 5 star hotel but I have never experienced a better home stay than this one.

Just recently came back from an unforgettable, culturally rich trip from Navalgarh of Shekawat region of Rajasthan.|My trip was doubly enriched by staying with Mr Rajeshji&His family in their family run guest house," Tourist Pension". The stay was so comfortable by the Host warm, authentic hospitality. The rooms are simple, neat, elegant and breezy.. and the host is so conscious about environment, sustainability, it reflects in every act of theirs.|Food.. The best ever home made food.. authentic Rajasthani nutritious meals made by his ever smiling, active wife| saralajiMost of the produce is either from their own farm or nearby ones. So organic, we can feel the freshness with just one bite.|Rajeshji is highly knowledgeable person.. And guides his guests perfectly.|Truly felt like, home away from home.. And left a small piece of my heart over there.
