My parents and I stayed in two rooms here for a couple of days in late November. One of the better options in Nathdwara, the hotel has comfortable rooms, competent service, good views, and great food. Our ground-floor rooms were spacious and with massive balconies. The linen could have been ironed, which is an issue we faced in multiple high-end hotels in this Rajasthan trip. The bathrooms have bathtubs and no separate bathing area, which is a nuisance. No one sensible uses these unclean bathtubs, and they are a major fall risk. On the whole, though, our stay was pretty comfortable. Particular kudos to the restaurant staff for being helpful and attentive. The food is strictly vegetarian but still quite good. One significant issue with the hotel is its accessibility. Some reviews mention that it's close to the Shreenathji Temple, and even the hotel staff assured me on the phone that it is very close. However, there's a steep climb from the hotel's main gate to the living area. Also, the temple is about 3 km from the hotel, and most of this stretch is not wide enough for a car. Thankfully, the hotel guys arranged an autorickshaw for my parents. We also faced minor issues locating the hotel because the signboard near the gate is covered with tree branches (and Google points to a location about 500 m before the actual destination). Plus, there's some road work going on in the area, so even getting to the highway is a bit of a pain. Some of these issues will be removed once the road work is complete, but people considering the hotel should know about this. Note that despite these issues, we still enjoyed our stay here, and I would blindly recommend the place. Another point if you are travelling with elderly companions: The hotel has an elevator, so you don't need to stick to the ground floor rooms.

Nine of us (three generations) stayed in five rooms at Brij Bhoomi between at the end of December for six nights - our first trip back to Nathdwara for several years. The rooms were comfortable and we were provided with extra blankets and heaters given it was quite cold. The bathrooms were spacious but could do with a refresh and occasionally there was no hot water. The wifi wasn't great however the team were very hospitable and welcoming, and the food was delicious. The restaurant was very accommodating for dietary requirements (no onion/garlic) and the hotel arranged transportation to the temple and for day trips plus guided us well on specific religious ceremonies. Special shout out to Chef Dauji and his team especially Rathod and Ravindar. Also to Varsha at the front office and the hotel manager Vikram. The rickshaw driver, Sohan Singh, was very reliable and took us to various religious sites which he was extremely knowledgeable about. I would recommend this hotel for groups.

While the location and services are good, the room quality is deteriorating every passing year. Either rooms are smelly foul or there are hot water issues as well as toilet cleanliness issues. The staff helps what best they can but the infrastructure needs improvement.
