Hotel gokuldham & Restaurant

One of the famous hotels in Nathdwara, Gokul is managed by RTDC. The place has been converted into a hotel from one of the summer houses of the previous king. While the place has royal touch and feel to it from the structure, unfortunately the same has not been maintained too well. The rooms (though huge) are pretty decent considering the fact they offer only the basic amenities. The food and service offered is pretty exceptional. Also the fact that the food is priced pretty reasonably. The place is surely suitable for those who want to stay at peace, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Do not expect too much luxury, but surely worth a stay. The place is around 3 km. away from the main town and you can easily get autos for commuting.

Undoubtedly The bestFEATUREDThe hotel staff is extremely gratifying and responsive and the fact that they'd go to great lengths to make sure you have a comfortable stay and the amenities are top class. we received The express room service, Room boys are always ready to help you and whatever you want they provide you without westing a single second. I like to mention Mr. samunder singh , Mr.Khushwant are Two pillars of the Management with a always smiling face. The person Mr.Samunder singh helped us to choose best place to visit in udaipur. we really enjoyed the all meals in hotel, we wanted to go some out side places to have food but just because of this hotel's food and services we stopped there only. they had safe parking space. the location is widely bit , every thing making our stay so much wonderful.

this is a RTDC hotel , located away from the crowded market , just off the main highway in peaceful surroundings .many Govt officials live in the vincinity . ||there is a small ice cream parlour on the way.||Contact the hotel staff for instructions lest you enter the busy bazaar area.||this is a budget property with a huge parking space. ||the staff is efficient & check in is smooth. ||the hotel is a heritage property with a huge lawn with swings in the garden .||choose the deluxe rooms behind the reception opposite the restaurant as these are huge with high ceilings & have separate dressing area . Also the bathroom is bigger & has modern fittings.||the restaurant serves meals only upto 10pm & orders have to be placed in advance.||the food tastes average & please stick to basic items like dal & gobhi.||THE BEST RESTAURANT IN NATHDWARA IS NATRAJ DINING HALL NEAR THE TEMPLE THAT SERVES AUTHENTIC JAIN MEALS & GUJARATI SNACKS .

Worst experience ever, third class service, three times i ordered for tea after that third class tea came,a very dirty minor boy bring it. No hot water was available to take bath. When I went to front desk nobody was available to complain. At the time of leaving the hotel one person was available at reception but not ready to accept the complaint.

Hotel Gokul is managed by RTDC and has value of heritage hotel. This the only value of this hotel otherwise if want comfort just missing. Family room has height of atleast 25ft but one AC is surely less than required to feel cool in summer. Some activities also notice that illegale entertainment to outsider hotel had provide wine facility in the garden which is deffinetly of high risk of security.Also hotel is atleast 2km away from main market or temple.

Actually, I'm writing this review after visiting this hotel years before. just thought of reliving those moments; thus, a review of Hotel Gokuldham as my stay over there was special & memorable. Me along with my colleagues cum friends had some office work so we decided to stay at this place for about a week (from 30.04.12 to 06.04.12). ||This hotel is just 2kms away from famous nathdwara temple. Being 6 of us we opted for a suite with extra bedding. During our stay the hotel staff was very helpful & supportive in providing us with amenities in odd hours, food service in our room, extra wash room to be used etc. Regarding our stay, we had no problems whatsoever. Infact, the manager even provided us with the famous prasadi from Shrinathji Temple, Nathdwara. We all had a wonderful time during our stay over there & even went out for a day to see places like Kumbhalgarh fort, Ranakpur temple, rakht talai, haldoghati, chetak Samadhi etc.

Its a place on the highway and its quite decent place. Dont know abt the rooms cause we have to check in but tariff was little high that time as expected as per festive season. So was there in their restaurant had dinner as it was above 12 am though they had served us the meals and the meal was good and fresh.
