Jal Mandir Raj Resort

This resort is a 1.5-2hr drive away from Jodhpur, it's in Nakoda. The nearest railway station is half an hour away from this resort and the very famous Jain temple is walking from here (I don't remember the name but probably it's Nakoda Ji). The resort is very big, so I visited here for the wedding. The capacity is around 1k people. They have 200+ rooms not sure of the number but it's divided into wing A wing B etc. We had all our functions from haldi, sangeet , reception, wedding everything over here from start to end. Everything completed very nicely without any complications. They can also arrange dhol, ghodi etc for you if you need. The resort has their in-house catering but we bring our own catering because we compare the price of our catering with the in-house catering and we chose the one which was economical for us. The resort is big enough that they have a dining area, stage, proper campus from where you can bring the barat everything. They have the swimming pool area as well but it's not generally available so you can have a word with the manager clearly on it. Talking about the staff and the service, so when we entered the resort the staff were very active, ready to help, they were carrying our bags and dropping it to our rooms but as we stayed for 3 days in the resort I felt that they became lazy and were avoiding the work. In 3 days we called them multiple time for the room cleaning but no one came. Further, they have an inbuilt geyser you just have to keep the tap on but from the first day itself we faced problems with the hot water and it was never solved. Further, they have the landline but you cannot reach reception from it they have provided you the cell phone number on that you have to call for the service and the worst part is there is very low network in the resort area. I can't comment on the food as I told you we choose our own catering from outside the resort. Further, they provided us with extra people for help at various occasions. They have heaters as well for nights as in winter the temperature go till 4degC . I'll definitely suggest completing all your purchasing parts from the city itself as there is no market nearby, we forgot to buy few stuff for which we drive 1hour from the resort and every bought it for the exorbitant price. Overall the experience was good but you have to plan things accordingly.
