Shikhar Bunglow - A Stunning Valley View Bunglow in Mount Abu

This kind of cheaters can cheat you easily. We have booked the villa for tomorrow but as per weather condition of gujarat and Rajasthan government declared red alert as the rain is pouring throughout the week. The Service Desk of this so called vilaa denied to refund our money and didn't give amy refund to us.. We paid total amount of 4500 to them for a day as an advance.. They didn't even refund a penny.. Totally dissatisfied with the service and the service desk response as they first told me that thay will see if thay can refund the money and will call me in half an hour but on the same call they quickly denied for the refund without discussing with anyone in the management... No Policy no service manners no sense of talking to the customer.. Robbers they are!!

Me and my husband went there for 2 nights. 30 th September 2023 check in and 2 October 2023 check out. We had extremely bad experience. I seriously don't know how @makemytrip list such properties in their portal without doing basic due diligence. The room we booked ( the picture was showing in the app) we didn't get that room. In amenities they told there will be parking and Wi-Fi. Both were not there ( parking area images I am attaching here) they don't even provide basic necessary items like water, dustbin and toilet tissue. When we asked about our room they told since we went late they gave that to someone else ( while I paid 100% advance while booking.and this property considering the area not cheap and in google luxury hotel listing in Mount Abu it was showing. While this is a budget hotel and this week cost was double for obvious reasons. Being in marketing sectors I know how they did listings and reviews as the property is pathetic) the stuff told us to complain at make my trip and when we did the same the provided dustbin and tissue and obviously we bought water and they were telling me why I complained at make my trip( which initially they asked me to do very rudely) as their owner is threatening them to remove from the job. Now coming to food in this area you mostly have to depend on the property kitchen. Food was really very bad and sometimes not even edible. While telling them they told it's our problem we are unable to eat. They can't do anything. Basic hospitality also was not in place.crockery was broken which they serve to us. I have stayed in many remote area as well but I never faced such bad experience. In the room there was no place to keep our things as cupboards were dirty and full of other stuff. Honestly the room we saw in the app was pretty good which we didn't get. Owner and staff were less bothered to say sorry or anything owner didn't even talk to us. One floor manager of make my trip named Shubham was really trying to solve the issue but they couldn't do much to resolve that. In the parking sedan will face issues as there was on road. Even at the washroom one glass was broken so no proper privacy.

We recently visited the Mount Abu and stayed at Shikhar Bunglow. Highly recommended place to stay at Mount abu, Preferably you are in group of people / family. It was neat and clean. Food was very tasty. Definately you will like the location and view from the bunglow.

worst service I get from owner. mid night insect and bees are come in room. we purchased 2 room. at mid night they told we clean and stay. but it not safe to stay that room so we move to our another room and share with other.they take 2 rooms money and silly argument. if we pay then get good service. not worth for 2000 rs. bad idea to stay here. they don't even answer and pick phone

We, 3 friends booked two rooms here and stayed here for 1 night in last December. It was hard to find in google maps, so we kept calling the number provided. The phone was not answered couple of times and other times it was switched off. One of my friends talked to the lady who took the booking the day before we are scheduled to arrive. So we kept calling her number. When we found out the place, we saw all the lights (inside and outside) were switched off and it looked like nobody is there. So we were puzzled and didn't know what to do in dark. Meanwhile a neighbor was walking by us and he approached us asking what we are looking for. We told him the situation and he was surprized that they took the booking and nobody was there! He said he knew their number and called them from his phone. He told them to come and said "you took the booking, the guests are here, why you are not here?" After he hang up, two men arrived by bike and opened the door and let us in. One of our friends, who did the booking got very angry and told them "why did you take the booking when you are not there?". We found out that those two men (one's name is Mahendra Kumar) didn't know about this booking as the lady didn't notify them. They said this happened before, we are the third victim of this incident. The room was ok and the bathroom was nice. Those men were very nice and cooked very good dinner and breakfast, very well-mannered. So, if that lady would notify them about our arrival, we didn't have any problem. We were lucky that the neighbor showed up like an angel, otherwise we definitely had to go away to somewhere in that dark and seek a place to spend night.

Worst Experience ever. No basic amenities like kettle no toiletries, towels. In short the room was not ready after reaching to the room after settling down we had to ask for the guy to give towels and toiletries and in toiletries he only gave soap bars no shampoo no moisturiser. WORST HOTEL. Please shut it down.

Worst experience ever. The service was terrible. No staff just one guy, even for the basic amenities such as water I had to wait for 30 mins. I had trouble finding the location and on Calling the owner for help she didn't respond properly. People who don't know how to run a hotel should not open one. My whole trip is ruined.

Superb hospitality and beautiful stay! The staff was super welcoming and humble. The food, the stay and the ambience is excellent. A must stay place in Abu. Loved it!
