Hotel Silver Oak Valley

I had a wonderful stay at Silver Oak Valley Hotel in Mount Abu. The property is well-maintained, with a peaceful ambiance and lush greenery that adds to the charm. The rooms were clean, spacious, and equipped with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay.

If it was a hotel at a well established city that had tons of great properties and higher benchmarks, I would have rated it one more star lower. But I understand we were at Mount Abu which in general lacks good hotels.||Coming the hotel itself, it's a tiny property with just five rooms (maybe there are more, so I could be wrong. As you go over the entry toll of Mount Abu, you see the signage for this hotel. You enter it and immediately realize that this old hotel was in its full glory some time in the past. The parking area / porch wasn't maintained and it had mud and weed-kind of plants all over. ||Check-in was prompt and the rooms were ready. The person (in beard, sorry forgot his name) managing the property was pleasant and helpful. All the five rooms are in a line and they open in to a decent size balcony. We were three families with kids and we enjoyed this open area. We pulled out chairs from our rooms and did tons of chit-chatting here. It also had a leasiurely swing. Our kids had a ball.||Coming to the room, the size was good and it had all basic amenities. The room, bathroom, linen, towels etc were clean. The vibe of the room was again that the property was a bit old. And the bathroom felt very basic.||The hotel has a kitchen but no restaurants. We could only order tea from there and couldn't experience their food at all.||We were only here for a night, so no complaints. Had we been here longer, we might have regretted being at the place.

ROOMS: Not good. Too congested rooms. There is not enough space. The ambience is also bad inside the room. Must be avoided. STAFF BEHAVIOUR: Fair. No professionalism. They don't know how to feel guests lively in their property. LOCATION: At the entrance of Mount Abu . There are more good hotels inside the main market. COST EFFECTIVENESS: Not worthy. Booked through Go Ibibo and charged a mammoth amount of INR 4400. One can find a 4 star resort with same price. FOOD: Below average quality. Overall, must be avoided. One can find this place as the moment of last option.

Service is very pathetic, Manager was so rude with the guest and his name is Gaurav. He even don't know how to talk with women and girls, He is super rude and arrogant Bad service bakwaas Manager Third class hotel and third class behavior.. No room service available no telephone to call for room service.. We had to shout for staff when needed.. Minus ratings (1)No wi-fi, asked for wifi it was repairing router. (2) water flush issue (3) no hyginity (4) why u dont check some primary things before room allot and solve problems? (5) unplugged dist tv cables. (6) shower not worked. (7) empty hand wash bottle. Note: if you want enjoy your trip don't go at this place.

Had a very great experience staying at this property. Very welcoming nature of Mr Gaurav who is in charge of the property. Nice location as well if you want fresh and clean nature and air. Also it is pet friendly so would highly recommend to those who are travelling with pets. Will surely visit again.

This hotel is near the Mount Abu tourist charges centre. The owner Mr Gaurav is a gem of a person. He is always ready to help the tourists and is very nice and courteous. He helped us to plan our complete itinerary and also advised us regarding parking and routes etc to avoid lot of rush. Because of his help and guidance we were able to explore unexplored and tranquil places of Mt Abu, like Trevors Tank, Achalgadh Shiv temple (the only temple in the world where Lord Shiva's toe is worshipped). Due to paucity of time, we could not explore Gaumukhi, which was just 3.5 kms from this hotel. The rooms are nice and clean and very quiet and peaceful. The premise is full of greenery and therefore it is is best place to relax and unwind. I will highly recommend it to families wanting to relax rewind and explore tranquil places.

Pathetic. Too far from market, and the behavior of staff is arrogant to say the least. Eventually they will make you feel like throwing a punch or two.
