Hotel Vandana Palace

We had a really bad experience at this place. I will start with a scenario that was specific to us, and may be only for a few other people. Mine is an interfaith marriage. Upon reaching the property, I was almost denied checkin and the manager said, "People from two different religions cannot have room here". I am aware that hotels deny checkin for unmarried couples. They could have said that if they suspected that we are not married or could have asked us to present the proof of marriage. But they straight away said couples from different religions cannot check in. After a lots of arguing and showing them our marriage photos, they finally agreed to let us in. Secondly, and a more common problem, the rooms are very small. We got linens with a lots of stains(it was red stains, make of it what you can). To top it off, the sound insulation in the hotel is hilarious. Not only that the loud noise of vehicles on road hardly couple of meters away from the hotel keep you awake, the sound insulation is so poor that you can actually hear snoring coming from the right next room as if it was someone sleeping on your next berth on a train. I short we had an almost sleepless night. We booked this hotel just as a pitstop in between our travel. All we needed was a good night's sleep, even which we didn't get.

I had an awful experience at this hotel. The room was filthy upon arrival, with stains on the bedding and a musty odor that wouldn't go away. The staff were rude and unhelpful, and it took forever to check in.Avoid this place at all costs!

The staff is really awesome! They were very helpfull with everything and very welcoming. Breakfast is good with very options. Everything was also very clean. We were five 7-8 boys travelling and they put us in the 3 room with all facilities, Very good quality-price!! Awesome food in the restaurant !

The room and bathroom is nice but the food is not that great Edit - I came here second time and this time rented the same catgory room but it was awful. There were red ants coming from the side of the bed. The telecom was also not working. When we asked them to fix the thing or change the room then they said that wait we are coming and never showers up. Now I seriously do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

We were a group of students who came for ATVC competition at Rajasthan Technical University. Stayed here for some days. The manager was the most jovial and friendly person i've met at a hotel, ever. He helped us in lot of ways, the rooms were superb and the service was so good that I would love to visit again. Definitely a place to check in.

Worst bathroom for 1k rent . And room stinks . I know 1k is not much but it's not even worth of that . No handwash no toilet paper and all other important stuffs and not available. AC ,Fan and TV service is not good.

Worst place ever! Do not stay at this place as bunch of goons run the place and a unqualified, uneducated, disrespectful idiot calls him the owner . We booked a room via OYO but the unqualified dude at reception didn't let us check in at the first place and asked us to contact OYO to provide us another hotel. To our surprise OYO didn't return our call. We had to pay extra amount to the unqualified dude to check in as we were continuously traveling for last 32 hours. The place is beside a liquor store and is actually not family friendly.

It's a good place to stay with minimum price. Hostel staff is very cooperative and no safety issues for women. Cleanliness is a bit problematic but manageable.
