Khuri Resort

It is located approximately 50km away from Jaisalmer city. It remains open during the tourist season and remains closed during the rest of the time in winters. There is nothing to visit this side except sandy tiles and long dry fields. Sam village is famous for adventure, it is on its opposite side and the city is also far from here, so if you want to go to the market in the city then it is quite far.

The resort's rustic charm and warm hospitality made us feel right at home. The staff were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The rooms were tastefully decorated, spacious, and immaculately clean. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the views of the surrounding desert landscape were simply breathtaking. We thoroughly enjoyed the resort's recreational activities, including camel safaris, desert treks, and campfire gatherings under the starry night sky. First experience with desert and it was such an amazing one.. Beautiful traditional ambience amidst the desert.. The food was too good especially the tea... And you will meet one of the best host here.. Camel safari, Parasailing, jeep safari spots are very mera to the resort..Definitely a must visit place.

Staying at Khuri Resort was a truly wonderful experience! The resort is not only beautiful but also incredibly comfortable, making it the perfect place to unwind. It added so much charm to my first visit to Jaisalmer, making it an unforgettable stay.

Okay, so let me give you a brief review about my stay here at Khuri Resort. So I booked this resort for 2nights stay seeing the great reviews given by guests. I chose Khuri over Sam as many people said Khuri is less crowded, which is true. Once i checked in this resort, everything changed. When i was trying booking this resort online they were showing very limited rooms available, when i checked in whole resort only 2 guests - Me and my wife. I thought it's okay let's go to the room take some rest and get ready for evening activities. Room- I booked the Non Ac Swiss tent but they gave me mud room. Room was so dirty, seems they don't clean at all. Bedsheets had stain marks. Pillow covered were very dirty, seems like they were not washed in last couple of months. Same thing with the towels they gave me. Mattress were so hard which mad difficult for me to sleep on it. Bucket was so dirty i had to request for a clean bucket. Welcome Tea- Oh My God!! Tea was so sugary.. The tray was very dirty. I told that person to get fresh tea.. He again brought fresh tea which was so pathetic. I went to reception to complain and told him to cancel my reservation as i was facing so many challenges. I spoke to manager and he said they cannot cancel which is very annoying. If you cannot provide basic amenities then you should at-least consider cancellation. Cultural Program- Somehow it was good. They organised the program only for 2 of us which is good.. Bonfire was so small. It could have been better as second day they had big group and the function organised for them was way better. Food- The spoons were very dirty. Some of the spoons caught rust as well which led us not to use the spoons. Food was somehow good. It could have been better. Camel Safari- Manager told me that we will get separate camels in morning, but when we went for camel safari we were only offered only 1 camel which was another disappointment. Still, the camel safari was good as we got to see the sun rise and click beautiful pictures in desert. Jeep Safari- They took us for jeep safari at night only for 20/30 minutes. Normally the jeep safari is for more than 1 hour. I have seen other resorts providing great facilities during night safari. We know that Khuri is not a prime location so we will not get much amenities but the basic facilities should be provided and they should not charge like a 4/5 star properties. Rooms,Beds,Crockery should be cleaned properly and food menu should be changed daily. So if i summarise my experience here, My whole trip was spoiled as i was not at all happy with the service they provided for the money i paid. My advise to everyone is please do not fall into trap with all these good comments and beautiful pictures mentioned online. It seems these all are paid comments.

I had so much fun. I had so much fun that I forgot the tension and stress of home and outside. I forgot to call home, to send messages. My mother calls me and tells me that you forgot me after going out. No, no call, no message I felt like a family away from home and I found a family. Meeting everyone made me feel like a family and I had a lot of fun. I can't express how much fun it is.

Very very delicious food and accommodation is also good. The rajasthani folk dance is the major event and i enjoyed a lot. Th best thing is discipline they maintained. Thank u so much for your service
