Castle Khandela

I returned to Castle Khandela after a few years gap. It still offers the same cosy atmosphere around a square central green space but some areas need a revamp: garden chairs cushions old and bit dirty, same old hard mattresses on beds which were supposed to be changed, bathroom miroir so high I couldn't see the top of my head ...and please replace the tiny shampoo,lotion, shower gel bottles for refillable decent size ones as suggested years ago...|They have added a swimming pool which is a bonus.|The restaurant is lovely and spacious and offers delicious food. |Staff very polite and helpful.|A pleasant stay but needs updating.

Unique and Awesome experience.Polite and courteous staff. You will love the ambiance and rooms and everything else in this hotel. Feels like staying in a royal palace. Must book and stay.

Takes you back in time. Exceptional hospitality , cleanliness and food |A great escape from the city noise and pollution.it was really peaceful . Beds were clean . Really enjoyed their bawri food session and the jungle ride . You may see leopards too if luck.

Pros -> Castle interior is beautiful.| Rooms were clean .| Staff was polite.|Some good locations inside castle to take pics.||Cons->| Location of the hotel is poor, It is located behind the market of khandela, Very narrow and crowded streets . To reach the hotel, you have to leave the main highway and travel through very bad condioned local roads.|Food choices are limited and expensive . For the breakfast you will have choice of only one or 2 things. No buffet system . For lunch also you will only have choice of tawa roti or rice . No other option than typical home like food.|In our case air condition was not working properly, We tried 2 rooms, same situation in both.|

Stayed in this beautiful property while on religious tour to Salaskar Balaji and khatu shyamji for one night.||||Hotel is actually a palace converted to its present form . Interestingly, it still preserve and display heritage items which were amazing. Breakfast and dinner were served on table , the taste of items were excellent. Service was good. WiFi is available. Mr Saini was always available to explain the Rajasthani tradition in detail. As we were two families having 6 members, bona-fire was arranged .||||Overall excellent stay. Going in group will be advantageous.

Situated in rusted town of Khandela this was a resident of Khandela rulers for about 500 years .It was renovated and restored by Dr Raisal Singh, a direct descendant of Khandela rulers . Bult in traditional Rajasthani style the castle has a small garden around which the whole hotel evolves . There are eighteen rooms , each in a different style having all basic necessities. The dining room provides the traditional and regional cuisine. The staff managed by Mr Surendra Singh is very helpful and courteous. They all go out of the to make you comfortable . Dr Raisal Singh also runs a free hospital adjacent to the hotel . But he manages to take time out in between in be there to attend to the guests personally and make them comfortable. The place feels like a home .

A Royal Rajasthani Treat . Situated in a rustic small Rajasthani village called Khandela , this Haveli has all the ingredients you need for excellent holiday. Excellent service, Excellent food, excellent staff, comfortable rooms Decorated with antique stuff. One must try their Safari to dam and their personal beautiful old Time Bawli.

Neat and clean hotel. The staff is very polite and helpful. They pamper you. All rooms are different, big and spacious, neat and clean. The ACs work beautifully. So in 40degrees C your are nice and comfortable inside. Food is like home made with soft rotis/fulkas. Tasty and enjoyable. Very good experience. About 3 5 hours from drive from Delhi. Road condition is good. Highly recommended for a relaxing break.
