Great Hospitality Great food with great staff. Rooms are really good and ethnic. Very clean property. The background music itself is really good. They are polite decent and understanding and would provide anything you require to make you feel comfortable
The place absolutely SUCKS. Do not go there. Feel sorry for the front desk staff, especially Kajal and Swaraj||I sent an email to the manager and did not even get a basic "we are sorry response" His email is jatin.prashar@ummedhotels.com ||||Dear Mr. Prashar:||By now you may have already heard from your staff about the series of mishaps I experienced in your hotel. I'd like to reiterate a few of them.||I booked the Royal Suite for three nights, Jan.12-15 in your hotel.||1. The shower took and inordinate amount of time to be warm enough to shower. Eventually I gave up and had a tepid water shower. Next morning I set the timer and it took exactly 14.33 minutes for the water to be bearably warm.||2. I wanted to keep my medicines in the fridge but it was warm and did not work.||3. On the second day, my room key would not work and the staff had to make two attempts to get it done.||4. The internet in my room was not working. And it was only after I got a message from my provider in the U.S. stating that I had used up 4 GB of my 5 GB amount, did I realize it was not working. The IT person had to come and literally change out the hardware in the wall for it to work.||5. The first night I could not turn off the lights in the closet doors. The next day when I informed the staff and the engineering person came and discovered that the buttons in the closet were busted and removing the bulbs (at my request) were the stop gap solution.||6. Then finally the straw that broke the camels back was the lights in the entire suite were shot because the breaker switch broke. I had to scramble in the dark to find my phone and your team came up and after a few attempts were able to get the lights up and running.||||You market your hotel as a "luxury hotel and spa" and I discovered that it's neither luxury nor a spa. I was told the spa is being remodeled and there were no provisions for a make shift solution to get a basic massage.||||The interesting part about this entire sordid experience is that I had read some very negative reviews about your hotel and dismissed them as some disgruntled guest making silly remarks. Unfortunately, in experience they were being "kind".||||Your staff is amazing and has to deal with unhappy customers because the operation is deeply flawed. A customer spending Rs. 57000 for three nights should not have to deal with stained, torn carpets and all the things I mentioned above. I'd rate your hotel as a 1.5 star hotel. But because of the staff it's a 3 star at best and not a 5 star by any stretch of the imagination.||||I would highly recommend you and the ownership step up your game and get the basics done.||||Sincerely
Please don't go by their ratings here. Most of them are fake. Apart from the infrastructure there's nothing this place has to offer. From bad service, to uncooked stale food. The linen is dirty, washrooms have a stinking smell. And to top it all, the staff tried to charge me for smoking in the room just because they found an empty cigarette box in the dustbin. Horrible experience, deserves zero stars if there was an option for that. Even after confirming a room on the first floor over the call, they denied saying that there's maintenance going on when the actual reason was there low occupancy (which is not a surprise considering their rude behaviour). A big NO if you're planning to book this. Also beware of Gajendra who will try to ask you for money in his UPI to upgrade your room.
After reading a lot of mixed reviews I went to the hotel upfront for booking, checked the room the parking and everything prior to booking, and after staying in the hotel I could definitely say that there is no reason for negative reviews. The stay in the hotel was awesome, pool was clean and big and it's deep also at some parts so swimming was enjoyable, the rooms was near and clean and spacious, on our request the provided us king bed room which is usually not available in online booking. And the view provided was also very nice. The property provides very peaceful stay. At this price it could not be better. Forgot to mention that parking is not a problem here as it has a big parking space.
Warm and hospitable experience. They made us feel really special.|The decor of the place is extraordinary. From live folk music to horses grazing outside the room, it was a memorable stay. |The breakfast spread is lovely--a special nod to the kheer and upma.
Nice hotel but felt dated. I am sure when it was made it was immaculate but seems to have not been kept up over last few years. Some staff were great, but others need to learn a bit more about hospitality. Location is very far out of tourist region and with ongoing MAJOR roadworks outside, if I know about the headache of getting taxi's, I may have stayed elsewhere
Looks can be deceiving! The hotel is grand, and the rooms seem nice--until you realize the AC doesn't work in the middle of a hot March night. Despite our complaints, the technician insisted everything was fine (spoiler: it wasn't), forcing us to change rooms at an ungodly hour. On the bright side, the restaurant was a highlight--serving amazing authentic food with exceptionally courteous staff who truly made us feel special. Full points to the restaurant for their outstanding service!
