I really enjoyed my stay at this beautiful heritage hotel. It has a great Rajasthani feel and the location is perfect. I got to meet and talk with people from different countries, which was a fun experience. The owner is very kind--we had a long and lovely conversation. They are also adding more luxury to this heritage property..overall a peaceful and unique place to stay!

Our Stay at the Rani Mahal was the best. The beautiful owner Nisha and her daughter Mitali made us so very welcome. Nothing was a hassle they helped with any inquiry so we could relax and enjoy our stay. This Havali is 450 years old and has been meticulously renovated preserving it's beautiful heritage. The food was excellent and very traditional tasty meals that you will not want to eat anywhere else. Location was fantastic with most tourist attraction walking distance. Cannot wait to return again soon.
I visited Jodhpur for the first time, and staying at Rani Mahal was a great experience! The hotel has a beautiful heritage feel, and the atmosphere is very comfortable. The hotel is situated in a quiet and pleasant location away from noise and limitless horns.||The rooms are clean and have an Old Blue City antique style design. It also has a lovely rooftop cafe, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the view for Mehrangarh Fort and the city.||The best part of my stay was the hospitality. The staff is very friendly, always ready to help, and made me feel at home. Nisha ma'am, Seru and the young smiling lady are the best. Thank you for making my trip special!||If you would like to dive deep into the real Jodhpur experience, Rani Mahal is a perfect choice. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Jodhpur.
The interior of Rani Mahal is truly impressive, elegant and thoughtfully designed. However, the service unfortunately didn't live up to the ambiance. We were a group of three, and it took over 30 minutes for our drinks and starter and it was not crowded at that time. While the staff was polite, the execution was lacking. At one point, they served the main course but forgot to bring plates. It was quite hot, and when we requested a fan to be turned on, we were instead asked to move to a smaller table for two near an existing fan despite being a party of three. The food was average overall; the paneer dish, in particular, was not up to the mark. The owner did make an effort to appear humble, but the interaction felt dismissive especially when she walked away mid-conversation while an elder from another group was trying to explain something. It came across as rude and disinterested. There seems to be preferential treatment toward larger parties or non-Indian visitors, which was quite noticeable. All in all, a beautiful space with potential, but the service and hospitality need serious improvement
Travelling solo can be daunting, but at Rani Mahal in Jodhpur, I was welcomed like family from the moment I arrived. The warmth was genuine, heartfelt, and grounding. Nisha and Matali (the haveli is owned and run by women) made me feel seen, not as a guest passing through, but as someone they were glad to have under their roof. I felt safe, looked after, and completely at ease - a rare gift when navigating unfamiliar cities alone. From the rooftop chai at breakfast to gentle conversations in the historic foyer, everything felt wrapped in care. Rani Mahal isn't just a stay - it's a soft landing.
Rani Mahal is truly a gem in the heart of Jodhpur! The hotel perfectly blends traditional charm with modern amenities. The rooftop views of Mehrangarh Fort are absolutely breathtaking, especially at sunset. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, and the attention to detail was commendable. The location is ideal, surrounded by vibrant streets, markets, and cultural landmarks. Whether you're a solo traveler, a couple, or a family, this place promises a memorable stay. Highly recommended!
This is a beautiful heritage hotel in the old district of Jodhpur. The renovation is tastefully done. There is a nice rooftop terrace that looks out over the blue city and up to the fort on the hill. They serve breakfast and dinner on the terrace. Note that you have to take a tuk-tuk in as the old streets are too narrow for cars. That is part of the experience in the blue city. Ask for a room away from the street as barking from stray dogs might be a problem if you are a light sleeper.
Rani Mahal is nestled in the bustling old part of Jodhpur city, where the streets are vibrant with people, shoppers, auto-rickshaws, and scooters. Due to the narrow and busy roads, it's almost impossible to drive directly to the hotel. Traveling with our family from Udaipur, we parked our car near the city and took auto-rickshaws to reach Rani Mahal. The hotel truly embodies heritage charm, blending the grandeur of old-world architecture with modern comforts. The staff's warm smiles and cheerful greetings made our stay even more delightful. The rooftop restaurant serves decent vegetarian food, and the complimentary breakfast was a lovely start to our mornings. As a tea lover, I was particularly impressed by their tea, which brightened my mornings--I couldn't resist having at least a couple of cups each day during breakfast! Evenings at Rani Mahal were magical, thanks to the enchanting Rajasthani folk songs performed live. The beautiful voices and heartfelt melodies left a lasting impression, making our stay truly memorable. It was a humbling and soul-stirring experience that I highly recommend to anyone visiting Jodhpur.
