The Almond Tree

The room was massive, especially the bathroom and it was super clean. The location was a little out of the way, but we liked it as it was nice and quiet. The food was amazing, some of the best we had in India, especially dinner so worth the hassle of having to pre-book. We decided to stay here at the end of our holiday before a 30 hour trip back home to relax and use all of the facilities. The hot tub on the roof and the heater pump for the pool were both broken. So, it meant that neither could be used. I did try and get in the pool but it was just too cold. None of this was mentioned on the site or when checking in. When I did complain about this, I got the reply that it will be fixed tomorrow. When I stated that nothing was mentioned on booking and that it was our plan to relax before a very long trip the manager just walked away saying nothing.

Great Place, the location is understated luxury! However that's where the story ends sadly. I do want to acknowledge that while I was trying to locate the place I was lost thanks to google - I spoke to the owner, I am assuming, and he was kind enough to have someone meet us to guide us to the property. The staff however were kind of cold and disinterested. Food options were limited and cheap food brands for a place of luxury- one would imagine nutrition is still a thing ! The towels in the room could have been for scrubbing your skin raw ! Grey and hard as rock; Thankfully I carry my own towels when I travel, I wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole. As an enterprise I would expect higher standards when treating your paying customers with respect - shows lack of mindfulness It was my birthday and I seem to have made the wrong choice !

From the moment e walked in, there was warmth, a visual delight at each corner... serene ambiance, delicious food... nothing too heavy on an, out of India stomach... lovely, helpful staff... such a comfortable sleep! To getaway from the noise yet be close enough... a must do!

The hotel is located in a secured area with villa's. It is close Umaid Bhavan and 15 minutes from Clock Tower by car. The rooms are big, clean and beautful. The Pool is nice. Food is good. Hospitality is kindly. Feels like home.

We stayed at this beautiful boutique hotel in two beautiful rooms for our family of four. We chose to stay here instead of a bigger hotel because we were looking for a more authentic experience and wanted to be in a place with a lot of local character. And that is exactly what we found at the Almond Tree. The food, the ambience, and most of all, the people were wonderful. We definitely plan to come back again to Jodhpur and when we do, we will definitely stay here again!

We have just stayed at the Almond tree and I would highly recommend this hotel. The room we stayed in was beautiful, spotlessly clean and the whole place was immaculate including the lovely pool area and the whole place was furnished with some beautiful decor. It's located in a quiet and peaceful residential area of Jodhpur yet is only a 15 minute Tuk Tuk ride into the very centre of the city. A special mention must go to Chetan and all the staff who were all exceptional and made our stay so enjoyable. If you are looking for a beautiful boutique hotel to stay in Jodhpur then I would highly recommend the Almond tree.

Lovely stay here. They serve you a plated dinner with many different varieties of food. Breakfast was delicious as well and made to order. The room was spacious and comfortable and the staff was accommodating and friendly. Highly recommend!

Fantastic guesthouse, the rooms are comfortable and clean, staff helpful and polite and the food wonderful. Cannot fault this hotel or its staff. Chatham the owner goes out of his way to see you are comfortable as do the staff Bletham & Brinthie. Almond Tree is a little out of town however the peace and quiet is heavenly, as is the pool. Make sure you have dinner on the rooftop it is serene. I only wish we couldve stayed longer here. Travelling as a group - with my husband, mother and sister. Highly recommend staying here.
