We were redirected to this accommodation when our original accommodation was booked for a wedding. Upon entering, the hotel is nestled in the heart of the city, and you feel somewhat immersed in the culture. The view of the Mehrangarh Fort is really beautiful, and you sort of get this sense like you're in front of the Parthenon in Greece. I believe the rock essence may contribute to this thought. Overall, the stay is lovely. The restaurants have a wide variety menu. (Which is great for my papa, who is 80 years old and is happy with hamburgers and fries) The staff here are all so kind and very accommodating.

So we arrived through some narrow streets with an interesting drive to a very warm welcome. After check in complete, we were taken to our first floor room which was gorgeous and spotlessly clean and had everything we need. The the host pulled back the shutters and that view of the Fort was our first wow! Such a stunning view. We enjoyed the swimming pool, got changed for the evening and went to the rooftop bar for drinks. Waiting for the sun to go down and enjoying the views and suddenly the Fort lights up -wow number 2! We have travelled the world (this is our 97 country) and we both just were in awe of the view and rapidly agreed it was one of the best we've ever had for sundowners! The staff here are amazing, the food is excellent, the accommodation truly sumptuous and the location is perfect. Definitely one of our highlights of India. We would love to go back.

"I have visited this property 2-3 times, and there is no doubt that it is truly stunning. The views are absolutely breathtaking, and the ambience is top-notch, making it a perfect getaway spot. However, while the property itself is exceptional, the food does not quite live up to expectations. Considering the pricing, I feel that the quality and taste do not justify the cost. That being said, the beauty of the place alone deserves 5 stars, but unfortunately, the food experience falls short. If the dining experience were improved, this would be an unbeatable destination."

This hotel is truly delightful, with an amazing staff and an unbeatable location. We stayed on the first floor, overlooking the pool, but we also enjoyed stunning views of the fort, particularly at sunset from the rooftop bar (the whiskey sours were fantastic)--it was magical. The rooms were thoughtfully appointed and beautifully furnished, featuring large beds with high-quality linens. Everything was spotless.||The food at all the restaurants was first-class, and the breakfast, served in a wonderful setting, was excellent. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable stay. We absolutely loved this hotel and couldn't find a single fault. We also stayed at another Raas property, which was equally outstanding--these guys truly know the hotel business.||While some reviews mention the nearby mosque and its early morning calls, I personally felt it added to the charm and atmosphere of the place. Would I return? Without a doubt, in a heartbeat.

We recently spent 2nights at this stunning hotel and would highly recommend it. Its location beneath the Merhrangarh Fort is perfect and the rooftop bar overlooking the Fort lit up at night is so romantic. |We stayed in a suite with balcony which had a direct view of the Fort- stunning! The room was chic and facilities very clean and well maintained. |We ate both nights at Darikana restaurant as the food was so good! The head waiter and all the restaurant and bar staff were very attentive and friendly. |Breakfast at the Baridari is another wonderful experience.|I also had the best head neck and shoulder massage that I've ever had at the spa by the lovely Mamata- she is the best!|Every staff member with no exception went above and beyond and are a credit to the hotel.

If you want to be right in the centre of Old Jodhpur, then stay here. There is a mosque next door and the current iman is not the most tuneful that we have heard, but there is something wonderfully evocative about the call to prayers. If you really can't contemplate being woken by the 6am call to prayers, then maybe try somewhere else, but then if you are looking for a quiet life, you probably wouldn't really be visiting the cities of Rajasthan anyway! (The hotel do provide earplugs, but hardly anybody bothered with them).||There are magnificent views of the Fort towering above you from almost every room of the hotel, and a pre-dinner drink at the roof-top bar when the fort is illuminated in the evening is simply fabulous. Food is the usual mix of Indian and international, all of which is excellent. (For some reason, "international" everywhere in northern India largely means "Italian")||Rooms are a good size and well appointed - what I would class as very good rather than luxurious. Service is excellent.||In addition to the obvious tour visits, do allow a couple of hours just to step out of the hotel into the lanes of the old city. It's very compact and you won't get lost - even when you think you are! Just around the corner is an old, well preserved step well with a couple of good coffee shops, particularly the Stepwell Cafe ( entrance via a narrow lane behind the shop at the corner of the stepwell)||Overall, a very good hotel in a fantastic location. Go here!

We recently spent a night at RAAS Jodhpur in their stunning Luxury Suite, and it was truly a memorable experience. The suite itself was beautiful, and the highlight was definitely the view of the magnificent Fort, which looked enchanting all lit up at night. Watching it from our balcony was a treat!||For dinner, we dined at the Stepwell Rooftop Restaurant, which offers a breathtaking 360-degree view of the city and, of course, a perfect view of the fort as well. The food was delicious, and the ambiance made our meal even more special.||The hotel is conveniently located right next to the Stepwell, and the new rooftop restaurant is just a short walk away. We also enjoyed the heated pool, which was set at a comfortable 28 degrees - perfect for a relaxing dip!||Breakfast was another highlight, with a great selection of dishes to choose from. ||Overall, our stay at RAAS Jodhpur was fantastic, and we can't wait to return! Highly recommended for anyone visiting Jodhpur.

Fabolous hotel, with amazing rooms, a serene courtyard area, with great food options and pool. Very friendly and courteous staff! We were lucky as our room not only had a view of the fort, but even managed to see the stepwell right next to the hotel as well. Nice, clean, and modern rooms.
